Too bad, I loved his production of The Mikado.
I imagine it's hard to compete with Florentine Opera, as well.
This state's in a lot of trouble financially. We're only $10 less in debt per person than California, or so I was told.

for those who might be interested, the Skylight situation has many twists and turns, and there currently is a major push from artists, directors, technicians, donors, and more to have this situation reversed.
• the local music/dance critic wrote a scathing column on monday saying the current managing director needs to resign or be fired, and the fired artistic director needs to be reinstated.
• three long-standing members of the theatre's board of directors have resigned in protest.
• there are protests being held, and social media, including facebook, youtube and twitter, is playing a huge role in it all.
