Well, it looks like the set hasn't been scaled back. The shoe is there, along with the bus, although it is hard to tell scale from some of the pictures...

Has anyone seen the show, is it technically (design, lights, costumes) the same show? Has anything been cut, scaled back?

Looks like it is a slightly smaller cast.

It doesn't look like the shoe moves toward the audience.

It's been noted that the bus is a new, smaller bus that is easier to tour with so I assume the shoe is new as well. Cast does look smaller, but looks like they recreated the Broadway version quite well visually.

Anyone know if there have been any book changes, scene changes, music changes? (Like 9to5, which was very different on tour, and then in the UK)

It's the same exact script as the Broadway show, no changes musically. The bus is only very slightly smaller (it IS the Bdwy bus, less than a foot taken off the width and a foot off the length.) Only difference in cast is 9 ensemble men instead of 10.

I want to see it. I loved Wade in TRIASSIC PARQ. I hope this comes to Houston.
