I believe the article mentioned another possible "fine" might be to discount their vote(s).
  • Old Classic Musicals (film or otherwise) with New Books  May 17 2013, 08:17:42 PM
Sorry, but isn't the song entitled: HEAVEN Hop? I can just hear the lyrics in my head: Hop, Hop, the heaven Hop.

    Am I mistaken?
  • Possible Infraction which MIGHT DQ Woolf!  May 17 2013, 05:18:29 PM
I said listed above as it is one of BWW's articles and is one of their headlines.

    HOwever, here is the link.
  • Possible Infraction which MIGHT DQ Woolf!  May 17 2013, 05:03:42 PM
Yikes...the article is listed above -- they will meet to discuss the infraction (a pamplet sent to voters without approval) and what, if anything should be done.

I will be so disappointed for them if they decide to DQ the show. It was stunning.

  • Old Classic Musicals (film or otherwise) with New Books  May 17 2013, 05:05:34 AM
I suppose it depends on the result. IS the show (to most folks) actually improved upon?

SOME shows NEED revisions (Carrie & Bare). That doesn't mean what ended up on stage was actually better. (I can't speak to Carrie, but Bare was a disaster to most.)

It' makes sense. Entirely and easily.
  • WICKED announces 10th anniversary cruise  May 15 2013, 06:09:50 AM
I wouldn't imagine this would attract too young of a crowd (or many families): It's a school week, it's pretty expensive.

And it does sound pretty stupid.

And, no, I'm sure this isn't the only thing they'll do. But I wouldn't expect more than the actually anniversary date being a big deal. (MAYBE that entire week, but not too likely.)

  • It's The Hard Knock Life  May 14 2013, 06:56:39 PM
Well, if he gets emancipated (and I doubt a judge will allow it "just because") doesn't that pretty much cut him off from dad's money? Or at least SHOULDN'T it?
  • SMASH cancelled :(  May 13 2013, 10:15:37 PM
    (Actually, no it's not.) :p
  • SMASH cancelled :(  May 13 2013, 10:04:15 PM
    Yes. It's still cancelled. Really.

Here's part of your problem -- you don't know the meaning of the words you use. Those are not vices.
  • Please take care, we won't forget you!!  May 12 2013, 05:08:51 PM
Nope. Not the intent, at all.
  • Please take care, we won't forget you!!  May 12 2013, 05:03:54 PM
Satire is not an "intent", its a style.

Let me know how glamourous it is when your spouse cheats on you. Or what it's like to attend the funeral of a 21 year old that died from a drug overdose.

The actions make the person -- not the other way around.
  • Please take care, we won't forget you!!  May 12 2013, 02:45:53 PM
Drug Use is glamourous? Infidelity is glamourous? Lying is glamourous?, Promiscuity is glamourus? Low morals are glamourous?

I don't think that word means what you think it means.
  • ANNIE Cast Album available at the Palace Theatre May 7  May 12 2013, 02:06:11 PM
So, you think everyone should get paid, as long as you don't have to do the paying. Nice.

    The future is bright.
  • ANNIE Cast Album available at the Palace Theatre May 7  May 12 2013, 01:57:37 PM
I would guess that the person on the street was a either a bootlegger or a shyster (sp) and I wouldn't take either. At the end of the day you only have your integrity. Go ahead and kid yourself that just because others "do it" that it makes it ok. Wrong is wrong.

And it makes no difference whatsoever what I do for a living. I could be a hooker, or I could be the president of any organization -- I deserve to be paid for my work. Just like the musicians and technicians. They make mo

"I Was joking. Everybody here want the cast album free but I know i wont get it. "

NO, everybody here does NOT want the cast album for free. I believe the artists that create the cd deserve to be paid for their work. Just like I expect to be paid for the work I do.
  • Please take care, we won't forget you!!  May 12 2013, 10:28:42 AM
It was weird and only choreographed as a TV number. It would not work at all on stage.
  • Hey, ROB!  May 12 2013, 10:26:22 AM
Yes...there is only one page for me as well. Not sure why I typed implying there was more than one.

Rob is already looking into it, and said it wasn't happening on other browsers -- but I know its happened before as others (maybe only those of us on Explorer) have mentioned it within the threads.
