The Charm City Fringe Fest is returning to Baltimore this fall looking a lot different than in years' past. After expanding programming with June's Nights on the Fringe and its newly launched Fringe Academy workshops, the festival is doubling in size.
Twenty-five theatre companies are slated to perform in venues across the city this November 8-15, not including the more than twenty bands and comics performing at after parties. The full performance lineup for its return engagement is attached below.
Tickets to each production are $10 with the one-time purchase of a $5 festival button. The schedule of performances, along with artist bios, descriptions, and ticketing information can be found on the festival website, http://charmcityfringe.com/tickets/ beginning in mid-September.
Festival performances will take place across Baltimore, including venues in Station North, Midtown, Hampden, and Patterson. Special festival events, parties, and happy hours will be held at Liam Flynn's Ale House (22 W. North Ave.) and Joe Squared (33 W North Ave).
Festival cofounder Zachary Michel is thrilled with the changes, "This is what we've been working towards: creating a festival that will make a splash in Baltimore's theatre scene." "It's truly taking on a life of its own, it's going to be a lot of fun," agrees cofounder Michael Brush.
