Join us for a free staged reading of one of the plays submitted by local playwrights for consideration for next summer's Baltimore Playwrights Festival.
The next Play Development Workshop Reading is on Saturday, March 26 at Fells Point Corner Theatre, 251 South Ann Street.
Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before the reading is to begin. Readings of plays submitted for our 35th Season begin promptly and are followed by a short talkback. The readings are free and are open to the public. Light refreshments will be available.11:00 am
Shadows of Men by Colin Crowley

Colin Speer Crowley is a playwright-lyricist whose plays and screenplays have been winners or finalists in over 30 national and international contests since 2010, and songs to which he's written the lyrics have been performed in musical revues in London. Most recently, Crowley's work has been performed in theatrical capitals on both sides of the Atlantic, including Off-Off-Broadway and London's Covent Garden. Crowley is a member of the Dramatists Guild, the Lambs Club, the Playwright's Center, and Phi Beta Kappa and also served as President and founder of the theatrical group Speerhead Theatricals, Inc.

Andrea Markowitz became hooked on theatre at age seven, when she saw her first Broadway show. She earned degrees in English literature, musicology and psychology, and enjoyed careers in advertising, human resources, academia, and freelance writing before authoring Feeding the Furies, her first play.
