Glee-Cap: All or NothingGlee-Cap: All or Nothing
May 9, 2013

It's that time of year again, Gleeks! No, it's not time for Mr. Schue to white boy rap - we would all like to forget that ever happened. It's time for Regionals and you know for all the absurdity that entails - it wouldn't be Regionals without ridiculous. Will New Directions be champions again? Will Ryder's lady of mystery finally show herself? Will Blaine pop the question to Kurt? Will Rachel land a dream Broadway role? Hold on tight, Gleeks - you're in for a ride. Season four finale, I choose you! Go!

Gleeks - it's going to be a WONDERful night! No, Glee isn't going to do a tribute to Wonder Woman, although - I'd be all over that, let's be real. Nope, Glee is paying tribute to a living legend that changed the game and defied the odds - Stevie Wonder. Tonight, the glee clubbers challenge superstition and someone just might for once in their life, they have someone who needs them! Cherie Amour, Gleeks!

Trouble arrives in the newest episode of Glee. With Sectionals nearing, Will hurries out to see the competition. And wouldn't you know American Idol runner-up Jessica Sanchez - Frida Romero - who is clearly the bees-knees in the show choir world, is part of that competition. After hearing her sing Mr. Schue quickly insists that the New Directions perform anthems... then darkness. No seriously, the lights go out and Figgins announces that it isn't a drill and that there really is a power outage. So, (unlike real life where they would've brought someone in to fix the lights or cancelled school until the lights were repaired) school continues with flashlights and Mr. Schuester changes the lesson to fit the lightlessness, 'Unplugged.'

Everyone's got a dream, right? Well - at least that song from Tangled leads us to believe that even the strangest people have dreams, but none of our Glee Clubbers are some strange guy in a tavern singing about their dreams. Nope, they have a choir room for that - of course. Tonight, dreams might just come true - and other dreams might be crushed. Let's take that journey, shall we? Finn enrolls in The University of Lima, where it seems like the part never stops, which is only aided when Puck moves in as his new roommate - it's a match made in drunken college heaven, y'all. Rachel prepares for her audition for Funny Girl, and recounts her love of Ms. Streisand from her wee little days to now - this Barbra fan girl is now ready to achieve the biggest dream of all - Fanny Brice. Roz Washington returns to McKinley to take over the Cheerios, while Bieste probes Will to talk to Finn, but Will isn't ready to patch up the teacher-student bromance, but Bieste gives him some food for thought. Marley, after the school shooting, wants to bring her dream of pursuing being a singer songwriter out of the darkness, but this is not aided by the constant strange behavior of the glee clubbers after the shooting - Sam 'has a twin' named Evan, Brittany is stuck on MIT, and Unique is taking birth control. Will informs the glee club that the theme for Regionals is Dreams, and already has a course of action, but Marley speaks up wanting to do an original song of hers, but Will isn't having it, especially after she mentions Finn.

Have you had enough of Seacrest out and been longing for the return of everyone's favorite glee clubbers? Well, fret not, Randy Jackson and the dawg pound - Glee is back, and there will be no more breaks or hiatuses for the remainder of the season - that's five episodes, kiddies! Normally, this is the part where I make funny and sassy comments, and I feel like I've got that covered, but tonight's episode will be dealing with a fairly serious (and tragically recent) topic [school violence] thus I felt I should address that before leading things. All that being said - Glee is back, and Seacrest is out. Just as the New Directions are about to get serious about Regionals, Brittany makes a startling announcement - a meteor (or asteroid - she's not exactly sure) will be striking Lima and killing the population within in the next several days. After hearing Brittany's announcement, Will decides to make the assignment for the week "Last Chances" - the chance to say all those things you've been meaning to say, but can't quite get right. Brittany decides she needs to make amends with Lord Tubbington, which confuses the glee club, but Sam tells her she should perhaps sing to him and mend their relationship. Ryder explains to Jake about the girl he's been talking to online, and how he's found her - at McKinley, but when Ryder finds the girl and serenades her with "Your Song" by Elton John, he's shocked to find he's been a victim of cat-fishing.
Glee-Cap: Guilty Pleasures.Glee-Cap: Guilty Pleasures.
March 21, 2013

Guilty Pleasures - everyone has them, even if some of us aren't all that ashamed of our love of those things people tend to deny they like. Me? I love Grease 2 and I'm not in the least bit ashamed, because well - it's the best ever. Tonight, Glee celebrates all things guilty pleasure - all those songs on your iPod you claim you "don't know where they came from" or that song you change on the radio dial unless you're alone, then you jam away like you're in it to win it. Gather ye, guilty pleasure lovers and haters - it's time to face the music. Wham! Blaine continues to crush on Sam, but when he confronts Sam about how he spotted him stealing pasta, Sam reveals he has a guilty pleasure for pasta art - making pasta art of Emma Stone, Leanne Rimes, and even Kurt. When Sam asks Blaine what his guilty pleasure is, Blaine fumbles and says 'Wham', when in fact he means Sam, but this prompts the duo known as Blam to propose a guilty pleasure week for glee club since Mr. Schue is 'out sick'. Kicking off the guilty pleasure goodness is Sam and Blaine with 'Wake Me Up (Before You Go-Go)" - all Technicolor 80's glory! BLAM! Brittany calls Kitty on her bitchy ways, and gets her on Fondue for Two and they dish guilty pleasures (including all of the Bring It On films), but Kitty's guiltiest pleasure is kept between the two and the fondue. Kurt's acting class calls for embarrassing moments, but Kurt won't admit to owning and using a boyfriend pillow as his greatest embarrassing secret, but one would think sweating to the oldies with Richard Simmons would be the worst, but we'll just try and forget that one.
Glee-Cap: Feud.Glee-Cap: Feud.
March 14, 2013

History is full of famous feuds, I'm pretty sure the booming tabloid market can prove that - btw, Lohan vs. The Bieber is heating up, in case anyone was wondering. This week, feuds take center stage, and it's about to get real. Blaine, Artie, and Tina call Will and Finn to meet over their feuding ways and declare it 'Feuds' week and challenges their fearless leaders to find a famous musical feud and take their issues to the stage. Rachel finds out she's not pregnant, but Santana stops her blissful 'it's all over' moment by reminding her that she can't just brush this aside, while Brody seduces a woman with a little Marina and The Diamonds 'How to be a Heartbreaker' while Rachel agonize over what to do. Feuds boil over between Blaine and Sue about his lack of keeping up with the Cheerios, also Ryder gets a dash of drama from Unique for how he treated Marley and ruined her relationship with Jake. Will and Finn meet to discuss the assignment, but Will pulls out the big guns and dishes some harsh honesty, leaving Finn to man up and accept the challenge.

Tonight's Glee and the recent Oscars have a lot in common, actually. No, Seth McFarland isn't going to come sing a song about boobs.. well, not yet. But, tonight's Glee celebrates the magic of music from the movies - how songs can turn a simple moment be it happy or sad into magic. Join us as Glee celebrates the movies, and their 500th musical number. As Daddy Warbucks said in Annie - 'Let's go to the movies'. Will dreams of a Fred-Ginger number between himself and Emma ('You're All The World To Me') and proposes the idea of a movie/mash up theme to the glee club along with the annual boys vs girls competition. Finn attempts to help Will find Emma, but Will is more focused on spending time with good movies than focusing on his runaway bride. After checking in with Sue, which results in no help whatsoever, Finn teams with Artie for some tips on how to find Emma, thus prompting Finn to go check out Emma's parents. Brittany and Blaine propose a non-competition number, and kicks off Movie week with 'Shout' from Animal House.

Wedding bells are ringing this week, and just in time for Valentine's Day! I know, it sickens those of us single people on Valentine's Day, but love is in the air tonight, Gleeks! Finn tells Rachel about kissing Emma and despite what he hopes to be a good conversation turns into a awkwardness when he can't seem to get over her new relationship with Brody. Emma is fraying at the ends as Finn tries to confront her, but she's not having it because she has pressing matters to deal with involving the wedding to deal with the situation at hand. Will returns and informs the Glee club he wants them to perform at his wedding, and in place of a best man speech, Will wants Finn to sing - freaking him out even more. What does Finn Hudson do when he freaks out? Turns to Rachel Berry? You bet! With Rachel's help, the best man song is now a duet between the two, and is that sparks I see flying? Marley gives Jake a gift for Valentine's Day, but Jake is not even remotely ready for Valentine's Day. With help from Ryder, Jake presents Marley with 'All I Need to Get By' by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell. Emma pairs Artie up with her handicap able niece named Betty, which Artie seems pleased about.

What do Christina Aguilera, Mariah Carey, and Patti LuPone have in common? You know, besides the adjectives of words that rhyme with witch and being known for being - you know, just a wee bit difficult. They're divas, and fellow divas of the Glee world - let us celebrate - well, us! Yes, divas - us. It's Diva week, so you better bring it, because a diva is only as good as his or her last stand. Will McKinley still be standing with all this diva power and will NYADA survive a diva off to end all diva offs? We shall see divas. Snap, snap. Kurt is sick and tired of Rachel's diva antics and is growing closer and closer to shoving something down her throat. ..Is it sophomore year all over again? The divas come out in full force when Finn declares it Diva week as Brittany, Unique, Tina, Kitty, and Blaine go full on diva with a performance of 'Diva' by Beyonce. Kurt finally snaps at Rachel, and reveals how he threw their original diva-off and challenges La Femme Berry to a diva-off. Blaine, despite being under the weather, something Tina and her flu-care kit are on, performs 'Don't Stop Me Now' by Queen. Finn invites Santana back to perform and show New Directions another diva at work, which is exactly what Santana does when she performs 'Nutbush City Limits' with her fellow cheerleaders. But, is Santana completely there just to show off her diva skills or is she onto the Bram in the air?

Alright, guys - it's time to get naked. ..Whoa, hold up - put your clothes back on, please - you do not need to be to enjoy this episode, besides it's totally an allegory for baring your soul. ..No, seriously - put your damn clothes back on, sheesh. Well, onto the episode! The Warblers have been stripped of their Sectionals victory after testing positive for performance enhancers, pushing New Directions back into the competition. Tina proposes the idea of a 'Men of McKinley' calendar to raise the last four hundred dollars for Regionals, but not all the guys seem to be on board. Rachel nails an audition for a student film, but when the script calls for a topless scene, she battles with her 'old' self and in typical Rachel form - sings about it, with herself - on 'Torn' by Natalie Imbruglia. Get it? She's torn? Ultimately, Rachel agrees to do the scene.

Happy New Year, Gleeks. ..Wait, what do you mean it's almost February? Please, it's totally still a new year, and with a new year comes - NEW GLEE! Are you psyched, Gleeks!? Tonight, its ladies choice - Sadie Hawkins hits McKinley High, and it's time for all the single ladies to grab a guy and cut a rug with the boy of their choice. Tina brings up the idea of a Sadie Hawkins dance to the student council, but President Blaine isn't sold on it, but he's out voted by his own inner council. Sam is convinced the Warblers cheated at Sectionals, and keeps presenting theories to Blaine, even if Blaine is completely unsold on the idea. Kurt begins at NYADA and find it's pretty much exactly like high school, and finds himself drawn to a show choir (you can take the boy of New Directions, but you can't take the New Directions out of the boy), but Rachel tries to deter him due to their lack of status among the performing arts social status of NYADA.

Well, it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas - I guess Rachel singing a Christmas classic last week is the Glee equivalent of Santa appearing at the end of the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade, except Rachel wasn't riding a sleigh and looking awesome. Get on that, Ryan Murphy - tick, tock for next year's Christmas spectacular de Glee. But, let's not jump in 2013 right away now - there's still a Glee Christmas awaiting in the wings - has it been a good little glee child or is it sitting atop the naughty list? Shake a jingle bell, and let's rock this biznitch. After falling out of his chair, Artie makes a wish that he was never in his wheelchair, which prompts him to have a dream of a world where Glee Club never existed - Becky is the school whore, Finn, Puck, Ryder, and Sam continue to bully a held back Kurt, who never met Blaine, and Rachel is a librarian in training hiding in the chorus of the local production of The Music Man, while Mr. Schue is miserably married to a faking a pregnancy Terri and Emma married Ken. Determined to defy the images of this world shown to him by guardian angel Rory, Artie brings the members of the glee club together and performs Feliz Navidad which lands with a thud. After being told by Rory that Quinn died following her accident without support from the glee club, Artie gets back in the chair and all is suddenly right with the world.

It's rumble time, Gleeks. We're taking the battle to the streets - er.. Sectionals! To Sectionals, we go! It's a battle royal between The Dalton Academy Warblers and the New Directions, but who will win? On top of that - it's Turkey time in Ohio, and you know what that means! No, it doesn't mean that Thanksgiving was last week and Glee is deciding to move a national holiday back a week - nope, it's reunion time! College freshmen return home, and that means old New Directions members are back in good old O-H-IO! It's time for tunes and turkeys, Gleeks! Who's ready for a stuffing filled episode with a dash of reunions and rivalries! The graduated seniors return home for Thanksgiving and come together the best way they know how - song with a mash up of "Homeward Bound" by Simon and Garfunkel and "Home" by Phillip Phillips. Marley recalls her dream when she was a little girl about singing in front of a full audience, which is going to happen at Sectionals and she's determined to make sure she looks her best, thus keeping up with her weird dietary habits. The returning home New Directions gather at Breadstixs for some catching up, but it's hard not to talk about Rachel and Kurt, who have both decided to not return home for Thanksgiving, but Finn is determined to make this a good experience. The old school meets new school as Finn pairs up the glee club newbies with the seasoned veterans - Marley with Santana, Unique with Mercedes, Ryder with Mike, Jake with his brother, and Quinn with Kitty.

Up, up, and a-Glee-way! Blaine leads a meeting of the Superhero Club, only to have the meeting throttled by crisis in Gleeville! Shock, wham, kaboom! Seems the New Directions Nationals trophy has been stolen! What fiend would do such a thing?! The voice of a shadow faced blazer wearing villain taunts and Night Bird (also known as Blaine) goes to Dalton to get the the trophy back from the clutches of the dastardly dapper boys known as the Warblers. However, the villain is not the former foe, Sebastian (Grant Gustin), but a new villain - the not even bi-curious new captain, Hunter Carrington (Nolan Gerard Funk) who taunts Blaine with a return to the Warblers, leading Blaine to perform 'Dark Side' by Kelly Clarkson, which could spell doom for our mighty hero! Nothing more tragic than a superhero turned super villain! In the midst of all the superhero shenanigans, Finn is struggling in his new role as glee club advisor, and decides to take a page from the current obsession with superheroes and use it in glee club - this week's theme: Dynamic Duets! Kitty takes it upon herself to pick a song for herself and Marley, but Marley isn't so sure working with her arch nemesis is such a good idea. Two bitter foes, Ryder and Jake, locked in battle over the lovely Marley's affections take to the glee club floor with 'I Am Superman' and ends up being anything but super the heroes turn foes and down and break out in a fight. Wham! Thus, the mighty Treble Clef (Finn) takes the wannabe heroes and forces them to get some kryptonite on each other to get to know each other better and turn from friend to foe.

Grab your poodle skirts and leather jackets, Gleeks! It's so on like Donkey Kong! Will tells the glee club about his sabbatical and the news does not sit well with Tina or many of the glee clubbers upon finding out that Finn will be his temporary replacement. Talk about understudy problems, right? Marley's costume for Sandy begins to seem far too small, due to Kitty making some alterations and making Marley feel concerned about her body, leading to her to turn to her mom who gives her the love and support she's known for. Finn attempts to fix things with Sue, but she's not having it due to his comment about her baby's disability, thus beginning Sue's battle to take down Grease and Finn. With Sue having booked the auditorium, Finn brings the boys to Hummel Tires and Lube to rehearse "Grease Lightning" allowing the boys to get a "method" approach to their roles. Rachel has landed an audition with a very hip new director and turns to Brody to help her, but Cassandra attempts to sway Rachel away, but Rachel isn't listening to her fiercely bitter dance teacher, thus prompting Cassandra to plot to pursue Brody.

Glee's back bitches - you ready to tackle one of the most popular musicals of all time? No, not Shrek: The Musical - although, let's be real - the competition for Fiona would be FIERCE. I'd vote for Blaine - he'd kill it as a sassy ginger princess. Grease is still the word - isn't it? Can we get confirmation on that? Oh well, we go together, Gleeks! Let's get Grease Lightning on the road! Blaine is completely a mess after his break up with Kurt, leaving him completely unfocused on the upcoming auditions for Grease. Taking to Sandy's classic tune of "Hopelessly Devoted to You", Blaine lets his sorrows flow, impressing Finn and Artie, but the heartbroken former Warbler turns down the role of Danny due to his lack of focus and feeling like he couldn't possibly be able to emote love and romance at his current state, but taking Teen Angel into consideration. Finn, after being persuaded by Artie and surprise guests Mercedes and Mike, gets into directing the musical despite a shortage on possible Danny's. Meanwhile, Will and Emma turn to Coach Bieste for help with their rift left by their fight over Will going to Washington to join the Blue Ribbon panel for the Arts. Break out the tissues, Gleeks - it's going to be a tearjerker. Marley and Jake bond over free lunch tickets, while Brittany and Blaine recall the early days of their relationships when things were that simple. Santana visits home with some dirty laundry and time for her girl, Brittany, but finds herself worried about Brittany's crowd being pretty religious and intense. Blaine begins to doubt his place in his boyfriend's life even more, while Finn attempts to figure out where he stands after being semi-honorably discharged from the Army and trying to figure out where he stands with Rachel. Blaine and Finn put their feelings into Duncan Shriek's "Barely Breathing" as Blaine's eye begins to wander elsewhere and Finn tries to find his place in the world and in Rachel's new world. Blaine surprises Kurt by visiting early and the newly reunited group of Finn, Rachel, Kurt, and Blaine hit Callbacks, a well known NYADA pit stop bar where Rachel and Brody duet on "Give Your Heart a Break" by Demi Lovato, while Finn feels his heart begin to break itself. Okay, well - Annie is just a little bit of it, but the sun'll come out tomorrow - for now - its Glee night, bitches! Blaine has decided to make senior year the best it can be and make up for not having Kurt around by joining pretty much every club under the sun - including running for class president against Brittany. Kurt nails his Vogue.com interview and impresses Isabelle Bright (Sarah Jessica Parker), who seems to be frayed at the ends but brimming with potential - like a certain person we all know and love. Brittany asks Artie to be her running mate, a position he accepts begrudgingly and begins plotting against Blaine. After not being chosen as Brittany's vice president, Sam asks her about it and she links Sam up with Blaine as his running mate and challenges Blaine and Sam to a debate. Mr. Schue is struggling with feeling a lack of creativity, something Isabelle can relate to after a disastrous meeting with her best of the best leaves her confiding in Kurt that she's failing to achieve the level required of her. Blaine and Artie go to work on Sam and Brittany to prepare them for the debates while Sam and Brittany channel their inner Courtney Love on Hole's "Celebrity Skin". Oops.. Glee is doing it again, Gleeks! No, not another Madonna tribute, but you know - tick, tock. Nope, it's Britney, bitch. So, go ahead - Glee - hit us one more time! Brittany has totally lost her way after being kicked off the Cheerios for being a bad role model for her fellow Cheerios, despite her performance of a song by her idol, Ms. Britney Spears. After a meeting with Miss Pillsbury and Brittany, Mr. Schuester decides to stage a second Britney week - it's Britney 2.0, bitches. Blaine and Artie launch Britney week with a mash up of Britney's "Boys" with Bieber's "Boyfriend" which seems to light a fire under Brittany's booty. Meanwhile, Rachel is still not getting any respect from Cassandra, but she and Kurt have found their own little apartment and are planning big things including Kurt auditioning for NYADA during the second semester and applying for an internship at Vogue.com. Kurt informs Rachel about a little secret that Cassandra has been hiding - her Broadway breakdown a la Patti LuPone during a pre-Broadway engagement of Damn Yankees causing her to be deemed 'Crazy July' and a huge reputation causing her career to stall. Meanwhile at McKinley, the kids get into Britney 2.0 with a performance of "3" while Unique tries to shine some light on Jake's womanizing ways to Marley using Britney's 'Womanizer'. Rachel turns to Brody for help in dance class, while the glee club tries to figure out a way to help Brittany out of her shame spiral as she goes on the rampage in the hallways of McKinley. On the bleachers, Jake and Marley blend the Britney's "You Drive Me Crazy" with a little twist of Aerosmith's 'Crazy', while the sparks fly between them. The glee club calls Brittany to a meeting about letting her be the lead for the upcoming pep rally performance, but Brittany wants to lip sync the performance, a choice that does not go over well with the glee club. At NYADA, Rachel takes to the floor with a version of 'Oops.. While shopping at the mall for costume pieces, Tina trips and falls into the fountain, hitting her head and resulting in some sort of odd body swap in which everyone in glee club has switched with someone else - Tina is now Rachel, who is rescued from the fountain by Puck asBlaineand Finn as Kurt. It's one of those nights that you're meant to look back on and have fond memories of and make fun of the ridiculous fashion choices you made. But, overall - it's a night to celebrate, to dance with the one you love, and cherish the moments and memories that got you to where you are. And this week, Gleeks - is that time for our beloved glee club members. Principal Figgins isn't happy with what little Brittany has done as class president, so he urges her to pick up the ball by planning prom, which in the short time she's given the task, she fires the prom committee and declares the theme to be - dinosaurs. Meanwhile, Rachel is still mourning the loss of her dreams after choking during her NYADA audition, and when Finn and Quinn are both nominated for Prom court, Rachel's insanity level goes through the roof. Kurt and Rachel prepare for their NYADA audition in their own ways - Kurt wonders if his performance of "Music of The Night" is too safe and predictable, while Rachel - in usual Rachel way - thinks of herself and her dreams above everything else. Meanwhile, Puck's future hangs in the balance over a test, and in typical Puck fashion - he attempts to use sex to get his way, but is less than pleased when it doesn't go quite the way it normally does - leading him to rock out and declare "School's Out" forever. Sue and Ros don't appreciate the way Santana and some of the glee club girls seem to throw the idea of domestic abuse round as if it was a joke, deciding to channel the girl's to find an anthem of female empowerment.

So, let's all just admit this, Gleeks - we've all at some point in our lives belted out the songs of Whitney Houston - either by lip synching to her into a hair brush and bouncing around our rooms or by attempting to emuliate her gorgeous vocals on several of her classic ballads. ..Don't leave me hanging here, Gleeks - you know you've done it, too. Tonight, our favorite glee club pays tribute to the queen of pop/soul, Ms. Whitney Houston. Will begins to realize just how hard the glee club is taking the loss of Whitney after watching Kurt, Rachel, Santana, and Mercedes perform an acapella version of "How Will I Know". After consulting Emma, who believes that the glee club is putting their loss of high school into the loss of Whitney, Will makes the glee club assignment Whitney Houston, which pleases several of the glee clubbers. Kurt attempts to get song advice from Blaine, but he seems distracted, so Kurt takes it upon himself to figure out what Whitney song to do, meeting a very excitable boy named Chandler at the music store while doing so. Brittany takes on "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" and dedicates it to Santana, who joins her girlfriend in taking on Whitney's 80's classic.

It's going to be one groovy night, Gleeks! Get your boogie shoes on, because our favorite glee club is spreading the fever, people - no, not Bieber fever - disco fever! Nope, disco is apparently not dead, so don your best white suit and get ready for a Saturday Night Fever dance party - Glee style! Blaine, Brittany, and Mike get the disco ball rolling with a little disco groove to fit the theme of Nationals being vintage, which pleases Mr. Schue, and leaves the rest of the glee club once again standing against the groovy sounds of disco. Mr. Schue plots to help the seemingly aimless Mercedes, Finn, and Santana while a Vocal Adrenaline member named Wade Adams comes to Kurt and Mercedes for help in becoming the 'unique' image of his dreams. Sue and Mr. Schue team up on a dance off challenge - the prize being a coveted replica of the white suit from Saturday Night Fever, the winners end up being the trio of Finn, Mercedes, and Santana.

Well, looky here, Gleeks - the hiatus is over and we've successfully survived yet another long and ever so ridiculous Glee hiatus? But, we were left with a huge cliffhanger - whatever has happened to Quinn? Did Finn and Rachel get married? Did ET phone home? All those questions (except maybe the ET one) will be answered! Due to Quinn's accident, Finn and Rachel had postponed their wedding, and Finn brings up the possibility of having the wedding sometime around Nationals, which will be in Chicago this year, but Rachel is more concerned about Quinn - who shows up in the midst of conversation - in a wheelchair. After performing "Still Standing" with Artie - Quinn reveals that her spine was compressed in the accident, but with physical therapy - there's a chance of a full recovery, and she's determined to be out of the chair and dancing by Nationals - something that doesn't seem to sit well with Artie. Sue is blindsided when Figgins makes Roz, the McKinley High swim coach, the co-captain of the Cheerios, leading to a showdown between the two ladies, after which Sue promises that she'll get the glee club to win Nationals get Figgins the sponsorships and money he so wants. After taking over Booty Camp, Sue is confronted by Will, who learns that Sue is once again up to her old tricks - beating down the glee clubbers to get what she wants, which doesn't sit well with Will. Emma and Will - after finding out that Sue will be finding out the sex of her baby - offer to go to the big doctor's appointment with her, knowing such a moment is one not to be shared alone.

It's the moment we've all been waiting for, Gleeks! No, Will Schuester is going to leave his glee club over to someone who's better suited for it, but we can all dream, right? No, it's the battle royal de Regionals - The McKinley High New Directions vs The Dalton Academy Warblers. Guard your loins, Gleeks. It's on! Sebastian is out for blood and decides to black mail Rachel into not performing at Regionals with a photo shopped photo of Finn, which causes tension between the soon to be married couple. Karofsky is outted at his new school, and turns to a suicide attempt, while Blaine tests out "Cough Syrup" for Regionals with Kurt looking on. The aftershocks of Karofsky's suicide attempt sends shockwaves through McKinley and the New Directions - Kurt comes to a God Squad meeting to explain how he feels like this was his doing, while the God Squad prays for him and plans to visit him in the hospital. Sebastian calls Blaine, Kurt, Santana, and Brittany to the Lima Bean calling a truce in light of recent events, seemingly turning a new leaf. Rachel and Finn make up after their spat, before Rachel declares she wants to get married after a win at Regionals. Mr. Schuester calls the New Directions together to get them to see there's a lot to live for and to promise him they'll never get to the point without talking to someone or thinking of what they have to live for.

Happy Valentine's Day, Gleeks - or as those who are single call it - Single's Awareness Day, where you spend your night watching Glee while others are on romantic dates and having perfect Valentine's Days! Not that I'm bitter or anything. ..Let's embrace the Gleeky love! Valentine's Day has arrived at McKinley and in honor of what she calls her favorite holiday, Sugar decides to have a Valentine's Day party at Breadstixs, but the catch is - no single people. Both Artie and Rory show interested in Ms. Motta and begin showering her with love, while Kurt gets secret admirer gifts - which he presumes are from Blaine. The Berry men shower their daughter and their soon to be son in law with love and blessings, deciding they want to invite the Hudson-Hummels for a Valentine's Day's dinner. With the Glee Club not doing something for Valentine's Day to raise money, the God Squad [led by Mercedes] turns to Valentine singing grams to raise money, which works well for new addition, Joe Hart.

I'd normally give some kind of witty introduction here, but I am not well versed in Spanish beyond the little I learned from middle school and high school, so let's just pretend I said something really amusing in Spanish and didn't put a lot of exclamation points and mention Ricky Martin and how he's livin la vida loca and can induce bon bon shaking. So, Gleeks! You ready for Ricky!!! Shake your bon bon and get ready to livin la vida loca! Will's Spanish skills are lacking and when Principal Figgins mentions to him a tenure position opening, Will goes to night school to brush up on his espanol where he meets the charming teacher, David Martinez. Meanwhile, Sue decides she wants to have a baby and begins looking for possible donors, while also competing for the tenure position, which is complicated by Roselyn, the synchronized swimming coach. Will, after talking to David, decides to launch a Latin music themed week, which is kicked off by David leading the glee club in "Sexy and I Know It".

Gleeks, it's time to break out your sparkly gloves and bust your best moon walk! That's right, Gleeks -It's Michael Jackson time! Get ready smooth criminals and Billie Jeans, it's going to be a doozy! Santana and Mercedes lament about missing their chance to perform Michael with the rest of New Directions at Sectionals, which prompts Blaine to suggest Michael Jackson as a possible theme for the week, busting out into a MJ classic to get things moving. Meanwhile, Finn is still pressing Rachel for an answer to his proposal for marriage, but she continues to struggle with the huge gravity of it. While having coffee at the Lima Bean, Sebastian drops a bomb on the New Directions revealing that the Warblers will also be performing Michael numbers at Regionals, a tip he picked up from Blaine. The New Directions don't take kindly to this and decide to declare war on the Warblers - taking it to the streets with 'Bad', which doesn't end well when Sebastian throws a slushie meant for Kurt in Blaine's face, leaving Blaine seriously injured.

Welcome back, Gleeks! Life is full of yes and no questions and tonight - some major ones will be asked and answered. Sam and Mercedes recount their summer fling in the best way possible - using the time old classic "Summer Nights". Meanwhile, Becky has her eye on Artie to be her new man as Emma suddenly feels the pressure of wedded bliss once Coach Bieste reveals she's eloped with Cooter, leaving Emma singing - literally - the "Wedding Bell Blues". After Emma accidentally proposes, Will decides to get a move on and ask Emma's parents, challenging the glee club to come up with the perfect proposal number. In an attempt to win back Mercedes, Sam joins the synchronized swimming team, which doesn't sit well with the status quo of McKinley High or Shane, Mercedes boyfriend. Meanwhile, Artie attempts to get Mr. Schue to use his moves to win over Ms. Pillsbury by performing a mash up of "Moves like Jagger" and "Jumpin Jack Flash" - which isn't up to Mr. Schue's ideal, but tickles Becky's fancy more than Artie would like. Mr. Schue asks Finn to be his best man while attempting to pick out the perfect ring, while Finn reveals he's considered the Army as a possibility for his future.

The Christmas spirit has once again taken over the halls of McKinley High, Gleeks. Break out the tinsel and the holly - Jingle bells are about to be rung out! The Glee Club is in the Christmas spirit - Mercedes leads the group in a rousing version of "All I Want For Christmas", while Finn realizes he's the only one who took that song to heart when Rachel presents a Christmas list a mile long. Meanwhile, Sue calls on Artie, Kurt, and Blaine to present the idea of the glee club performing at a homeless shelter, something she's decided to do since she'll be alone this Christmas. Rory, also feeling the lonely end of the holidays - performs Elvis's Christmas class, "Blue Christmas" which prompts the glee club to aim for a much happier holiday than the previous year. Mr. Schuester surprises the glee club when he reveals that a local station has asked them to do a Christmas special on a local station to be directed by Artie - who talks the station manager into some pretty outlandish ideas.

This is it - The clash of the musical titans we've all been waiting for. No, not Gaga vs Katy Perry - the other clash of the musical titans - New Directions vs The Troubletones for the Sectionals glory. Who will rise and who will fall? Without a Berry to their name, New Directions goes into the battle without their lead diva. Sit back and prepare for a musical battle to end all musical battles! Quinn informs Rachel that Puck and Shelby are having sex, and how she plans to tell Principal Figgins and get Shelby fired, which would eliminate The Troubletones from Sectionals. Rachel attempts to rationalize things for Quinn, but Quinn seems far too content with her plans - until Rachel brings Beth into it, leaving Quinn slightly deterred, but not for long. Finn and Mr. Schuester discuss Sectionals, which will be held at McKinley for the first time in years, but Finn fears they lack star power - thus bringing up the idea of tracking Sam down, who is currently living in Kentucky. At the Lima Bean, Kurt continues to lament his and Rachel's bleak future, while Blaine laments over how Finn continues to put him down - only to be interrupted by Sebastian. The claws come out when Blaine leaves, Kurt and Sebastian reveal their dislike for each other - Kurt not backing down as Sebastian attempts to do what Sebastian does best. Rachel and Finn track down Sam - secretly working at a strip club - under the name - White Chocolate to provide for his family.

The drama is crazy high at McKinley High, Gleeks. Between the presidential race and Santana's sexuality being put on blast, and upcoming Sectionals - it's getting real! Finn saves Santana from being suspended for two weeks - which would ultimately make her unable to compete in Sectionals, but there's a catch - a group assignment between the Troubletones and New Directions. Rachel worries about Kurt's future with the election on the horizon and the results looking more and more in Brittany's favor. Finn comes up with a lesson on Lady Music - songs by ladies for ladies, which are kicked off by Kurt and Blaine dedicating "Perfect" by Pink to Santana, who is less than enthused by the whole thing.

It's that time of the season again, Gleeks! That's right, this weeks episode was the mash-up. The episode starts off with all of our male Gleeks joining Puck in an alternate fantasy about his teacher girlfriend, Shelby Corcoran (Idina Menzel), as they all sing Hot For Teacher, by Van Halen. Sue starts a smear campaign against Burt Hummel, to the clear disapproval of everyone else, especially Kurt. She compares it to his run for class President, saying that he should play it the same way to get ahead in the votes. She convinces him to get a better cause to fight for.

Remember your first time? He was wearing that half mask, you were wearing your favorite Opera dress, all while you were sailing on a boat through the - Oh wait, that was Christine from Phantom of the Opera. But, tonight - relationships will be taken to the next level as it's time for two of our favorite couples to face the music of the night and take their own journey - sans the opera dress, the mask, and the boat - well - maybe. Artie takes his role of director of West Side Story to heart and proposes an interesting question to his stars Rachel and Blaine - if "Tonight" is about sexual awakening - what was yours like? Both are flustered - but take the question into account with their boyfriends. Blaine makes a visit to Dalton to invite the Warblers to opening night of West Side Story and encounters a rehearsal of "Uptown Girl" sung by Nick and a new Warbler, named Sebastian. Artie - after watching Coach Bieste run out of rehearsal upon his question to Rachel and Blaine - confronts her about her first time - to find she's interested in someone, but unsure how to pursue it. Also in pursuit - Sebastian chats up Blaine, clearly walking the line between flirtation and walking over the line. Finn goes to Puck for advice about garnering protection for his night with Rachel, while Kurt and Blaine discuss Kurt's bucket list of things - which prompts Blaine to ask about being adventurous while they're young, causing Kurt to question his words. Blaine goes to meet with Sebastian, who once again pushes the line - but Kurt arrives and instantly pushes back on the boy's advances, but agrees to sneak into a gay bar with him - shocking Blaine. Artie pushes the man who Bieste is interested in to ask her out - making it very obvious - while Rachel pushes Finn to commit, only to offend him when she lets slip why she wants to do it so badly. Cooter steps up to the plate to ask Bieste out, but her insecurity almost derails it - but things click and go on track for a date. Rachel, desperate to figure out what she did wrong - calls on the girls of glee club and becomes inspired by Tina's words about her first time with Mike. Meanwhile, Mike and his father come to words about his involved with West Side Story - both men saying things they will likely regret. Blaine and Kurt head to the gay bar - which reveals Sebastian once again attempting to push the line, while Kurt surprisingly runs into Karofsky, whose doing well while at his new school, seemingly putting a real truce to the events of the past. Kurt rains on Sebastian's parade by claiming Blaine on the dance floor, only to have an argument with Blaine after he gets too handsy as they get ready to leave - Blaine storms off, leaving Kurt hurt. Opening night of the musical comes and Artie is nervous, but his cast makes him feel like a grown man for the first time with their support. Santana, Puck, and the Sharks sing "America" - while Mike and the Jets crash the party. Backstage, Blaine and Rachel grow more nervous for being realistic about their roles, but agree - they can truly do this. After the show, Kurt meets Blaine on stage and they share a tender moment before leaving to go to Blaine's. Finn freaks out over the recruiter not looking at him seriously, his frustration about his future reaching a peak - which Rachel attempts to bring him down from. As "One Hand, One Heart" is recalled - both couples share their special first time. No opera dresses, no boats - but lots of love. Until next week, Gleeks.
