A Mother's Love opens at the Rialto Center for the Arts (80 Forsyth St. NW, Atlanta, GA 30303) on Friday, November 22, 2013 and closes out on Sunday, November 24, 2013 for three nights with five shows including two matinees on November 23, 2013 and November 24, 2013. Ticket prices range from $55.00 - $75.00 and are available for purchase at kandionline.com and rialtocenter.org.

Kandi speaks on A Mother's Love, "Though things are exaggerated, you will see moments of my life in the musical. Writing A Mother's Love has been therapy for me in many ways. I've had to focus and not only co-write the script which is loosely about my life but have also written twenty (20) songs for the play in a very short amount of time which has allowed me to unload a lot of emotions inside of me."

While KANDI has the starring role in A MOTHER'S LOVE, she and TODD have enlisted the legendary chops of platinum-selling Eddie Levert of the O'Jays, Chandra Currelly of Tyler Perry's stage productions, the powerhouse vocalist Shirley Murdock who's hit single, "As We Lay," catapulted her to gold-selling status, platinum-selling and Grammy nominated Q Parker of 112, D. Woods formerly of Puffy's girl group Danity Kane, and Real Housewives of Atlanta cast mate, Porsha Stewart makes, her acting debut. Also a part of the play is popular social media personality Funky Dineva and V103's L-Breezy.

A Mother's Love is a story that captures the rollercoaster relationship between a mother and daughter. It depicts how tough it can be for a mother to let go and allow her daughter to make her own decisions when it comes to love. The story, which plays out over a week's time, chronicles the daughter's girl group as they prepare for a life changing performance. Will the mother finally respect her daughter's wishes to make her own decisions? Will the daughter choose to love the DREAMER, a man with potential who loves her and is working towards his dreams, or the PROVIDER, a man who in the eyes of her mother has accomplished his dreams and arrived. Will the mother be successful in pushing her into the arms of another man? Torn between accepting the life her daughter wants and forcing the life she thinks her daughter should have, this is A Mother' s Love.
