Legendary rock group Lynyrd Skynyrd are set to take bergenPac by storm with Vagabonds on Wednesday August 14, 2013 at 8:00PM, it was announced today. Tickets are $149, $99, $79, and available at http://www.ticketmaster.com, www.bergenpac.org, or by calling the box office at (201) 227-1030.

Lynyrd Skynyrd returns with a fiery slice of Southern style guitar rock heaven in Last of a Dyin' Breed, their newest release on Roadrunner/Loud & Proud Records due August 21, 2012. This is the kind of record guaranteed to feed the needs of the multi-generational Skynyrd Nation, and continue the renewed vigor the band exhibited with their last album, 2009's God & Guns.

Led by core members Gary Rossington (guitar), Johnny Van Zant (vocals) and Rickey Medlocke (guitar), along with longtime drummer Michael Cartellone, Lynyrd Skynyrd has maintained a tremendous legacy that began over 40 years ago in Jacksonville, Florida, and continues with the recently released Last Of A Dying Breed (Roadrunner). The band's career was halted for a decade after the 1977 plane crash that killed three band members, including Ronnie Van Zant and Steve Gaines, and then subsequently faced adversity through the losses of Billy Powell, Ean Evans, Allen Collins, Leon Wilkeson and Huey Thomasson, yet they rock on. With a catalog of over 60 albums, sales beyond 30 million worldwide and their beloved classic American rock anthem "Sweet Home Alabama" having over two million downloaded ringtones, Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Lynyrd Skynyrd remains a cultural icon that appeals to all generations. The current line-up features Gary Rossington (Guitar), Johnny Van Zant (Vocals), Rickey Medlocke (Guitar), Mark "Sparky" Matejka (Guitar), Michael Cartellone (Drums), Johnny Colt (Bass), Peter Keys (Keyboards), Dale Krantz Rossington- Honkettes (Backing Vocals) and Carol Chase-Honkettes (Backing Vocals).

Lynyrd Skynyrd's Johnny Van Zant offers, "Every member of Skynyrd has been fans of Bad Company from the get go. Personally, Paul is one of my favorite rock singers. We have a deep appreciation for Bad Company's music and look forward to being on the road with them and sharing the stage." Paul Rodgers reveals, "The Skynyrds and I go back to the 70's and the days and nights at the Hyatt House on Sunset in LA aka the Riot House. In the 90's the band introduced me to my wife Cynthia, and that's why I am so damned happy and healthy these years."

The Vegabonds formed in Auburn, AL during February of 2009, a combination of two bands and two new comers, and haven't stopped playing since. They wasted no time, and immediately started working on their first full album. A mix of different musical interests laid the groundwork for the debut entitled, "Dear Revolution". The album was released in the summer of 2010, with rave reviews stemming from local writers, all the way up to regional and national recognition with reviews in magazines like Alabama Arts and (the New York based) Relix Magazine. The Vegabonds toured the Southeast non-stop in 2010 playing well over 125 shows promoting "Dear Revolution, and look to surpassed that amount in 2011. They have shared the stage with Gregg Allman and Friends, Blues Traveler, Tea Leaf Green, Cherry Poppin' Daddies, Heavy Pets, Hill Country Revue, Honey Island Swamp Band, Rolling in the Hay, and The Last Straw.

The Vegabonds debut album "Dear Revolution" was featured in November's issue of Relix Magazine including an album review, a spot in the "On the Rise" section, and the song "Ballad of the Movers and Shakers" was on the November '10 sampler. Also, the band won the Relix Jam-Off and are featured in the current issue. The song 'Shaky Hands' is on the compliation disc. The band is very proud of having two songs from the debut album featured in such a big magazine. Several of the albums songs have climbed to top spots on the Independent Charts. IAIRA ranked "Shaky Hands" #1 and "The Wanderer" reached #88. Indie-music.com ranked The Vegabonds 'Top 25 Unsigned Bands of 2011,' after the song 'Shaky Hands' reached the top of Indie-music radio. The Vegabonds were also selected as the feature band this year on the nationally syndicated Rick and Bubba radio show (The Zac Brown Band was featured a few years back.)

Early in 2011 The Vegabonds started recording their sophomore album entitled "Southern Sons" which is already catch buzz around the musical community. The new album was released January of 2012. In April '11 The Vegabonds shared the SunFest stage with Gregg Allman and got rave reviews stemming from the festival. The SunFest tweet read: "The Vegabonds are REDEFINING southern rock!" The Vegabonds will be toured in Europe in 2012.
