Disney's landmark musical event, THE LION KING will hold a children's open casting call for the roles of African lion cubs "Young Simba" and "Young Nala" on Saturday, October 24 beginning at 9AM at The National Black Theatre in Harlem (2031-33 Fifth Avenue @ 125th Street, NYC). Casting search is for the Broadway and Las Vegas productions and the North American touring company.
Performers ages 9-12 of all cultural backgrounds (with a maximum height of 58") who can sing, dance and act are encouraged to attend with a parent or guardian (professional experience not required). At the audition, children will be taught the last verse of the song "I Just Can't Wait to be King." Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
