Zeus the Dog to Appear in Engeman Theater's CAMELOT, 9/15 - 11/6
By: Caryn Robbins
On July 31, an open casting call was held at the John W. Engeman Theater at Northport for a unique role. The auditions were for a Dog to play the role of Horrid in our next show, Camelot! There is a short scene in act 1 that requires a live dog to play the part. So we held open auditions for a local canine.
The description of the part was; Horrid The Dog - A big, older, sweet and passive dog that will be calm onstage and not bark. A sheepdog would be ideal, but a lab, golden retriever, wheaten terrier, or any other large shaggy mutt will do. This dog has definitely seen better days! In one funny scene in Act One in Camelot.
After all the auditions were completed we are proud to announce what dog will star in Camelot!
