West Coast Ensemble Presents CRUMBS FROM THE TABLE OF JOY, Opens 6/17

West Coast Ensemble is thrilled to present the second production of West Coast Ensemble's Diversity Initiative, CRUMBS FROM THE TABLE OF JOY, written by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Lynn Nottage (Ruined, Fabulation) and directed by Ben Campbell. CRUMBS FROM THE TABLE OF JOY will open on Friday, June 17 at 8:00pm and continue through Sunday, June 26 at The Hudson Mainstage Theatre, 6539 Santa Monica Blvd. in Hollywood.

Told through the eyes of 17-year-old Ernestine Crump, CRUMBS FROM THE TABLE OF JOY is a memory play about an African-American family from the Deep South that moves to bustling Brooklyn in 1950. Written by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Lynn Nottage (Ruined, Fabulation), CRUMBS FROM THE TABLE OF JOY is a lyrical, funny and compassionate gem that charms the heart with its delightful, unforgettable characters and its message of tolerance and hope for the future. CRUMBS FROM THE TABLE OF JOY is produced as part of West Coast Ensemble's Diversity Initiative and is funded in part by the City of Los Angeles Cultural Affairs Department.

The cast features Mylika Davis, Lara Hughes, Kenyetta Lethridge, Rickie Peete and Lyn Ross.
The lighting design is by Lisa D. Katz. The sound design is by ReBecca Kessin. The show will be stage managed by Faryl Saar.
ABOUT SCHEDULE AND PRICING

CRUMBS FROM THE TABLE OF JOY will open Friday, June 17 at 8:00pm and continue through Sunday, June 26 at The Hudson Mainstage Theater, 6539 Santa Monica Blvd. in Hollywood. Ticket prices are $20 general, $15 student/senior/union. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 pm, Sundays at 3:00 pm.
