Welsh Amateur Production Presents THE PRODUCERS 10/20
Back in 1969 an enthusiastic group of friends launched the Orbit Theatre Company. Now, to mark their 40th anniversary, Wales' no.1 amateur company are tackling one of their most ambitious shows ever, the Broadway and West End smash hit THE PRODUCERS.
From the mind of comedy genius Mel Brooks, it's the crazy story of Max Bialystock and Leo Bloom, a pair of Broadway producers seeking to con their investors by staging a show so terrible that it closes on the opening night. Full of larger-than-life characters, hysterical situations, and a jaw-dropping "Springtime for Hitler" sequence that has to be seen to be believed, you're guaranteed a rib-tickling visit to the New Theatre.
Be a part of Orbit Theatre's 40th anniversary celebrations and see the Welsh amateur premiere of THE PRODUCERS, openning Tuesday, October 20 and running through October 24 at the New Theatre.
