Webster University’s Conservatory of Theatre Arts Presents The Receptionist
Webster University's Conservatory of Theatre Arts presents "The Receptionist" by Adam Bock. The production runs from April 1-3 in Stage III, Webster Hall, 470 E. Lockwood Ave. Curtain time is 7:30 p.m., on Friday and Saturday night and 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday afternoon.
Admission is $12 for the general public and $6 for senior adults and students. For ticket reservations, call the Fine Arts Hotline at 968-7128.
At the start of a typical day in the Northeast Office, Beverly deals effortlessly with ringing phones and her colleague's romantic troubles. But the appearance of a charming rep from the Central Office disrupts the friendly routine. And as the true nature of the company's business becomes apparent, The Receptionist raises disquieting, provocative questions about the consequences of complicity with evil.
