Waterfront's Season Finale Announced

By:

Ross, Roush, Kripitz & Fauss Wrap Up Waterfront's Winning Season

A concert evening featuring Gordon Ross, Vicki Roush, Skipper Kripitz and Michael Fauss will bring down the curtain on a smashing Waterfront Playhouse season. This eclectic musical treat will be held on Sunday, June 3 (one night only!) with a curtain time of 8:30 pm. Cocktails will be available throughout the evening and a post-show reception will be held under the stars in the sculpture garden in front of the theatre.

"We're very excited to have been asked to close out the Waterfront season," says Ross. "This show is both intimate and fun, and brings out the best in us all." Jazz, love songs, classics, and a bit of decadence combine to make a great night of music.

Vicki was a highlight in the original Red Barn production of Nunsense and appeared on the boards of all Key West stages, including a sold-out solo concert at the Waterfront several seasons ago.

For 19 years (until 2006), Ross directed and produced Gordon Ross and Friends AIDS benefit, raising thousands of dollars for AIDS Help Inc. charity. This 37 year resident of the Keys has also appeared in Whoop-Dee-Doo!, The Boys Next Door, and most recently appeared as Officer Barrel in the Waterfront Playhouse production of Urinetown.

Skipper Kripitz is considered one of the best rhythm / percussionists in town. His busy schedule includes an amazing array of Key West's best productions and events.

Accompanist, Michael Fauss made his Key West debut at the Waterfront Playhouse as Musical Director for the highly successful Naked Boys Singing in 2006 and most recently was the Musical Director for the season's big hit Urinetown.

The June 3rd concert begins at 8:30 (after sunset!) and will include some well-known and not-so-well-known musical numbers. These four good friends and fine entertainers will present an evening not to be missed! Tickets are $35 and are now available online at: www.waterfrontplayhouse.com or by calling 305-294-5015. A post-performance reception will be held in the sculpture garden in front of the theatre and is sponsored by Linda and Fred Greenberg, with catering by Jennifer Cornell and Small Chef At Large.
