Washington Ensemble Theatre and ACT Theatre Join Forces for THE CONSTRUCTION ZONE
Washington Ensemble Theatre has announced its new partnership with ACT - A Contemporary Theatre. The two theatres will now work in tandem to bring the popular reading series The Construction Zone to Seattle audiences who love to witness and participate in the development of new plays.
With support from ACT's new Associate Artistic Director John Langs and Literary Manager Anita Montgomery, the Ensemble will present five staged readings over the course of the year in The Eulalie Scandiuzzi Space at ACT Theatre. To kick off the new collaboration there will be a Special Ribbon Cutting & Champagne Toast with the audience for the first new installment today, April 23.Readings and post-play discussions will take place on: today, April 23, June 18, July 23, August 27, November 19, 2013 at 7:00pm in The Eulalie Scandiuzzi Space at ACT Theatre.
