WILD AND SCENIC MUSIC FEST Presents Laurie Lewis & the Right Hands, 8/26-27

WILD AND SCENIC MUSIC FEST presents Grammy Award winning Laurie Lewis & the Right Hands, as part of the highly anticipated - first annual Wild and Scenic Music Fest, August 26-27, 2011 at Icicle Creek Music Center in Leavenworth, WA. The event also includes acclaimed Foghorn Trio from Portland Oregon, along with several other popular Northwest bands, Spare Rib and the Bluegrass Sauce, Atlas String Band, Pickled Okra and Hot Cider.
Proceeds from the festival benefit the Wild and Scenic Institute, a non-profit organization that provides free environmental education to disabled and disadvantaged youth. For more information on the organization visit www.wildandscenic.org.The weekend kicks off with a good old-fashioned barn dance on Friday night, August 26th, featuring the Atlas String band. Tickets can be purchased for $5 at the door.The Main Event on Saturday, August 27 has something to offer everyone in the family including a full day of music on the Meadow Main Stage, a beer garden with tasty brews from the Icicle Brewing Co, food vendors and fun kids' activities.
