Porter, who originated the Tony- and Drama Desk-winning role of 'Lola' in Broadway's KINKY BOOTS, will soon appear in 'SHUFFLE ALONG'. Among his past stage credits are SMOKEY JOE'S CAFE, GREASE, FIVE GUYS NAMED MOE and MISS SAIGON. The actor also appeared off-Broadway in ANGELS IN AMERICA, BIRDIE BLUE, GHETTO SUPERSTAR (which he also wrote), CHEF'S THEATER: A MUSICAL FEAST, RADIANT BABY and THE MERCHANT OF VENICE, as well as concert productions of HAIR and DREAMGIRLS. Porter also recently directed THE COLORED MUSEUM for Huntington Theatre Company.
