And a Happy Birthday shout-out to Alice Ripley, who turns 52 today!

Ripley will return to Broadway in AMERICAN PSYCHO this spring. She last appeared in NEXT TO NORMAL, which won her the Tony for Best Actress in a Musical in 2009. She was also nominated for a Tony for her performance in 1998's SIDE SHOW. Among her other Broadway credits are LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW, JAMES JOYCE'S THE DEAD, KING DAVID, SUNSET BOULEVARD, THE WHO'S TOMMY and LES MISERABLES, as well as a benefit production of CHILDREN AND ART and DREAMGIRLS in concert. Off-Broadway, the actress has taken the stage in WILD ANIMALS YOU SHOULD KNOW, CHEF'S THEATER: A MUSICAL FEAST, THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES, and concert productions of LITTLE FISH, JUBILEE, CHESS and LI'L ABNER. She has also released albums with her band, RIPLEY.
