Victoria Clark has starred in many musicals depicting beautiful romances, but none could be as beautiful as her own love story.

Though it was not expressly clear to everyone, the Tony Award-winner's solo album from 2008, "Fifteen Seconds of Grace," served as a window into her heart. "There was a not-so-subtle theme running through the CD for anyone to find, should they be so bold." And one Thomas Reidy was.

A former actor, Reidy had not been involved in the theatre world professionally for a long time, but after being matched with Clark on eHarmony, Reidy knew he recognized her from somewhere. When they met in person later, he told her that he'd made the connection that she was a Broadway actress and realized he was already familiar with her work. This was just the touch their date needed.

"I was meeting a bunch of crazy people online, and here was an available man who seemed to be of this world and had actually gone to the theater," Clark recalls. Throughout their early dating process, Clark was still wary of eHarmony in general, and she had her son to think about. But her instincts about Reidy were that it might work, "I was thinking he's very handsome, he's a lot of fun, but I'm just not sure."

Reidy says that he could hear the subtext in "Fifteen Seconds of Grace," and he knew she wanted a deep relationship, something Clark admits that no one else had realized besides Reidy.

On their third date, the couple went to the Lobby Lounge of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel- a 35th-story room overlooking Central Park. Clark describes it as "so romantic," continuing, ""And he said: 'I want to tell you something. I know who the No. 1 man in your life is, and I'm never going to challenge that, and I'm never going to make that an issue. And I'll tell you something else. I'm prompt, I'm reliable, I'm trustworthy, I'm extremely loyal, and once I decide that I'm with someone, I really walk the walk with that person.' "

"That was the date when I thought, all right," she adds. "And to the thousandth degree, he has delivered on every single thing that he said."

The couple were married on August 1, and have since held separate celebrations with friends, including some of Broadway's best.
