The Orange County School of the Arts (OCSA), a nationally recognized arts school that provides bright and talented students with a creative and challenging educational environment, is pleased to welcome Tony Award-winning American musical theatre composer, lyricist and playwright, Jason Robert Brown, to participate in the school's 10th Anniversary of PERFORMING WITH THE PROS on February 1 and 2, 2013.

Hand-selected and directed by Brown, the cast of 35 students will rehearse for three weeks prior to the performance to develop an original production featuring pieces with the guest artist, the students and The Combined cast. Many oF Brown's acclaimed works will be highlighted in the repertoire, including songs from "13," "The Last Five Years," and "Parade."

Over the past ten years, PERFORMING WITH THE PROS has brought current OCSA students and esteemed theatrical professionals together for a unique performance opportunity. Past participants have included OCSA alumni and Broadway actresses Krysta Rodriguez and Lindsay Mendez, Tony Award-winning actress Alice Ripley and Broadway actor David Burnham.

PERFORMING WITH THE PROS will take the stage Friday, February 1, 2013 at 7:30PM and Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 7:30PM at Margaret A. Webb Theatre, 801 North Main Street, in Santa Ana, CA.
