The film follows two young, pop culture-obsessed assassins in New York City who accept what they think will be a quick and easy job until an unexpected target, played by James Gandolfini, throws their plan into chaos. The film is Oscar-winning screenwriter Geoffrey Fletcher's (PRECIOUS: BASED ON THE NOVEL PUSH BY SAPPHIRE) directorial debut. Fletcher produces with John Penotti and Bonnie Timmermann.

VIOLET AND DAISY is set for a limited theatrical release on June 7.
