Usher to Appear in Off-Broadway's FUERZA BRUTA Tonight

Seven-time Grammy Award winning superstar Usher will join the critically acclaimed cast of the Off-Broadway show FUERZA BRUTA as the lead Running Man for two performances tonight, April 28th. Fans will experience an exclusively intimate and electrifying performance of FUERZA BRUTA with one of the world's most beloved music icons at their fingertips. Shows are at 7 p.m. EDT and 10 p.m. EDT at the Daryl Roth Theatre with general show tickets on sale now for $150 at Telecharge.com. A limited amount of special VIP tickets will be available for $200 including a FUERZA BRUTA T-shirt, a special edition program signed by Usher and a digital download of Usher's upcoming new release Looking For Myself, available for redemption on June 12.

FUERZA BRUTA floods the senses with breathtaking visuals and dynamic music as performers run through moving walls and frolic in a watery world suspended just above the audience. The non-stop action and kinetic aerial imagery is set to a beat-driven, heart-pumping soundtrack. Since its opening in 2007, FUERZA BRUTA has garnered rave reviews with The New YorkTimes hailing the show "a physical and visual extravaganza," while the New York Post describes it as, "a dazzling blend of erotic, hypnotic, aquatic."

FUERZA BRUTA, which translates to "brute force," is an Argentinean-founded multi-sensory spectacular created by artistic director Diqui James and musical director Gaby Kerpel, the same creators of De La Guarda.

FUERZA BRUTA recently closed limited engagements in Antwerp, Bilbao, Knokke Heist, Madrid, Berlin and Tel Aviv where it celebrated very successful tours. FUERZA BRUTA's Asian tour kicked off on February 14th in Manila, and will spend the entire year playing the major East Asian cities. FUERZA BRUTA premiered in Buenos Aires in 2005 and has been seen in Lisbon, London, Cordoba, Buenos Aires, Bogota, Sao Paulo, Rosario, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Queretaro and Edinburgh Fringe Festival, where it earned critical praise and was honored with the prestigious Bank of Scotland Herald Angel award for "the biggest and best show on the Fringe - the must see event of 2007" (The Herald).
