Upright Citizen's Brigade Theatre Hosts STOMACHTOWN, 3/31
BLEAK! Comedy, in collaboration with the Upright Citizen's Brigade (UCB) Theatre NY are proud to present BLEAK! : Stomachtown, a new western themed musical at The UCB Theatre NY on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at 8:00 PM.
Ruthless criminals and sketch comedians go toe to toe in Stomachtown. BLEAK! Comedy presents a tale filled with love triangles, jealousy, bar brawls and even... death. There will be blood. There will be vengeance. All presented in this thrilling musical comedy that takes place inside a stomach.
BLEAK! comedy has been performing together since 2007. They have been seen all around New York City at a handful of locations including 92Y Tribeca, UCB Theatre, NYU, and The School of Visual Arts. BLEAK! recently headlined the National College Comedy Festival and the World College Comedy Festival. In addition to performing BLEAK! Has also conducted sketch workshops to various college sketch troupes. BLEAK! is the record holding eight win champion of the monthly sketch competition Backyard Brawl at the UCB Theatre NY. Members of BLEAK! have been featured on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, MTV, FOX News and produce and write videos for Landline TV and the Onion News Network.
