This year again, United Solo Theatre Festival offered its support to The Actors Fund, an organization that helps entertainment professionals who are in need, crisis or transition. Before and after each show at the Festival the audience members were invited to join our fundraising. Both the generosity of our patrons and the involvement of the solo artists made the contribution to The Actors Fund possible.

"We are grateful for this support from United Solo. Solo artists as a community bring a unique theatrical perspective to life through their creative expression, and the spirit of giving back to The Fund this holiday season will help so many people in need in performing arts and entertainment," said Barbara Davis, Chief Operating Officer of The Actors Fund.

Omar Sangare, the artistic director of United Solo, met Barbara Davis to pass on a donation check of eight hundred ten dollars. The Festival will continue its mission through popularizing the art of solo performance and by uniting people of a good will.
