According to The Hollywood Reporter, Le Vision will develop and produce two new projects from THE LION KING helmer Rob Minkoff, a life-action comedy titled 'Silkworms' and an all-new animated feature to be called 'Wolf Totem.'

According to THR, Silkworms centers on "two bumbling monks sent by Rome to ancient China to steal the secret of Chinese silk production, A TRUE STORY Minkhoff calls "the first case of industrial espionage in history." WOLF TOTEM is based on Lu Jiamin's novel of the same name is described as "a life-and-death struggle on the great Mongolian plains."

Commented Minkoff, "The success of the recent live-action adaptation of WOLF TOTEM (by director Jean-Jacques Annaud) has inspired us to take a different approach and tell the story from the wolves' point of view. It's what animation does best."

In addition to THE LION KINK, Minkoff directed 2008's "The Forbidden Kingdom", starring Jackie Chan and Jet Li, and is currently producing "Blazing Samurai", an animated comedy inspired by Mel Brooks' Blazing Saddles. The latter is set to hit theaters in 2017.
