LIDSVILLE is underway...FINALLY. Back to the 60's. Peace, love and psychedelia! And DreamWorks is pretty great. So many old friends there.

Just recorded a musical episode for THE NEIGHBORS. Larry and Jackie discover Broadway Musicals. Such a blast!!

In THE NEIGHBORS, Marty Weaver (Lenny Venito) just wants the best for his wife, Debbie (Jami Gertz), and their three kids. That's why he's moving them to Hidden Hills, New Jersey, a gated community complete with its own golf course. Marty is certain that their new home will be a dream come true. And then, they meet the neighbors. . . . aliens from the planet Zabvron -- and the Weavers are the first humans they've ever met. An airdate fo rthe musical episode hs not yet been announced.

Lidsville was Sid and Marty Krofft's third television show following H.R. Pufnstuf (1969) and The Bugaloos (1970). As did its predecessors, the series combined two types of characters: conventional actors in makeup filmed alongside performers in full mascot costumes, whose voices were dubbed in post-production.

Menken has 34 awards and 33 nominations accredited to his name since he began his career and has written songs and scores for some of the world's most beloved films including: Beauty and the Beast (two Oscar wins), The Little Mermaid (two Oscar wins), Aladdin (two Oscar wins), Enchanted (three Oscar nominations), Pocahontas (two Oscar wins), Hercules (Oscar-nominee), The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Oscar-nominee), Little Shop of Horrors (Oscar-nominee), Newsies, and Tangled (Oscar-nominee). His Broadway credits include Beauty and the Beast, Sister Act, The Little Mermaid, Little Shop of Horrors, Newsies, and more.
