By: Kelsey Denette
The Trinity Academy of Irish Dance steps on to the Schaumburg High School Auditorium stage for their 2011 spring performance, Inspire. In a heart-pounding display of strength and agility, Trinity dancers ages 4-18 take the stage with new choreography as well as old favorites including "The Dawn", "Celtic Tiger" and "Johnny". Special performances include Trinity II, the junior touring company, Men of Trinity and dancers fresh from the World Championships in Dublin, Ireland.
About Trinity AcademyFor nearly 30 years, dancers from Trinity Academy of Irish Dance have thrilled audiences with their inspiring showmanship. From humble beginnings in church basements to recent engagements as U.S. ambassadors on international stages, Trinity dancers consistently bring a unique energy and passion for Irish dance and culture. Not only is Trinity the first U.S. school to win a gold medal at the World Championships, but Trinity's total world medal count currently stands at 32.
