Producers Letty Aronson and Julian Schlossberg have just announced a creative team of award winning Broadway veterans for the world premiere production of Bullets Over Broadway, the new Broadway musical adaptation of Woody Allen's and Douglas McGrath's screenplay of the 1994 film.

Tony Award® winners Santo Loquasto (scenic design), William Ivey Long (costume design), Donald Holder (lighting design) and Glen Kelly (musical arrangements and supervision) will join five time Tony Award® winning director and choreographer Susan Stroman in bringing the new musical to the stage.

The Broadway production of BULLETS OVER BROADWAY, with an adaptation by Woody Allen, will feature existing music of the period when it arrives home on Broadway in the 2013 - 2014 season.

Additional creative team, dates, theater and casting will be announced shortly.

BULLETS OVER BROADWAY tells the story of an aspiring young playwright newly arrived on Broadway in 1920's New York who is forced to cast a mobster's talentless girlfriend in his latest drama in order to get it produced.

Santo Loquasto (Set Designer). Designer for theatre, film, dance and opera has won 3 Tony Awards® and has been nominated 15 times. He has collaborated with Woody Allen on more than 24 films, including costume design for Zelig and production design for Radio Days and Bullets Over Broadway for which he received Academy Award® nominations. Recent designs include Waiting for Godot, Fences and Wit. He received the Merritt Award for Excellence in Design and Collaboration in 2002, was inducted into the Theatre Hall of Fame in 2004 and received the Pennsylvania Governor's Award for the Arts in 2006 and the Robert L.B. Tobin Award for Lifetime Achievement in 2007.

William Ivey Long (Costume Design) previous collaborations with Susan Stroman include The Producers, Contact, Crazy For You, The Music Man, Young Frankenstein, Happiness, The Frogs, Thou Shalt Not, Steel Pier, Big, Picnic, A Christmas Carol at Madison Square Garden, Double Feature, Blossom Got Kissed and Frankie and Johnny Rose at New York City Ballet, as well as The Producers: The Movie Musical. Current Broadway: The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Chicago (now in its 17th year). Upcoming Broadway: Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella, Big Fish (also with Ms. Stroman). Mr. Long has 12 Tony Award® nominations, winning 5 times. He was inducted into the Theatre Hall of Fame in January 2006, and elected Chairman of the American Theatre Wing in June 2012.

Donald Holder (Lighting Design) is currently represented on Broadway with The Lion King (Tony®, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle Awards), Spiderman Turn Off The Dark and the revivals of Annie and Golden Boy. Other Broadway credits include: Ragtime; Les Liaisons Dangereuses; A Streetcar Named Desire; Gem of the Ocean; Movin' Out; Juan Darien (all Tony Award® nominated), The Motherf**ker With the Hat; Promises, Promises; Arcadia; Come Fly Away; Cyrano de Bergerac; Radio Golf; The Little Dog Laughed; Thoroughly Modern Millie; Prelude to a Kiss; The Boy From Oz. Off-Broadway includes Blood and Gifts, Birdie Blue, Jitney, Saturday Night, Three Days of Rain, Jeffrey, Spunk, many others. TV: "Smash" (Seasons 1 and 2, NBC/DreamWorks).
