TokenCollective Presents NESTING 9/9-20 At walkerspace

TokenCollective announces its inaugural production, the world premiere of Caitlin Saylor Stephens' NESTING, running September 9-20, 2009 at walkerspace. TokenCollective's premiere production will be directed by Jennifer Sandella and produced by Caitlin Saylor Stephens, Jennifer Sandella and Melissa Wolff.

Stephens' new play is the perfect kick off for TokenCollective's exciting work ahead. NESTING maps one woman's struggle to maintain her life as it was after a devastating fire. With humor, empathy and love, three uninvited guests enter her grief-stricken world to pull her out of the rubble. According to Stephens, "When I wrote NESTING I was attempting to comment on the solitude of grief and the nature of human suffering but through the course of this production, that solitude has turned into something more collective and shared than I had ever imagined." Co-producer/actress Wolff adds, "It's thrilling for TokenCollective to delve into this subject matter and bring Caitlin's script to life. We may come from very diverse backgrounds, but we share The Common goal of cultivating work inspired by our unique, personal experiences."

NESTING opens at walkerspace (46 Walker Street) Wednesday, September 9, 2009 and runs through Sunday, September 20, with performances Tuesday through Saturday at 8:00 pm and matinees Saturdays and Sundays at 2:00 pm.
