Tickets for Linda Eder Rocks the Holidays will go on sale Friday, November 7, 2008 at 10 a.m. Presented by Broadway In Chicago, the one night only holiday concert of vocal icon Linda Eder is Saturday, December 13, 2008 at 8 p.m. at the Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University (50 E. Congress Pkwy., Chicago).
Audience members will be able to spend an evening listening to Linda’s holiday favorites with her reinvented style. Having just released her 10th album since 1991 this past month, The Other Side of Me shows Linda’s musical style has recently shifted towards contemporary rock. Reverting back to her country roots, Linda’s new tracks and style offers a looser, more intimate country-pop sound that truly comes from her heart.Linda’s career took off in 1987 when she gained national exposure appearing on Star Search in 1987. She earned much success on the show after winning a record 13 weeks in a row which inevitably led to her landing an extended run with her own show at Harrah’s Casino in Atlantic City. Performing in Broadway’s Jekyll and Hyde, Linda played Lucy Harris one of the leads, approximately 900 times. She appeared in the subsequent musicals Svengali and Camille Claudel. Since establishing a strong Broadway career Linda has unveiled 10 albums and has packed prestigious concert venues all over the United States.Photo Credit Linda Lenzi
