Theatre Memphis Presents ANNIE GET YOUR GUN thru 9/12

By:

Theatre Memphis presents ANNIE GET YOUR GUN through September 12.

The best shot around, Annie Oakley supports her siblings by selling the game she hunts. She's discovered by Col. Buffalo Bill who persuades this novel sharpshooter to join his Wild West Show. In just a glance she falls head over heels for dashing shooting ace Frank Butler who headlines the show. She soon eclipses Butler as the main attraction, which while good for business is bad for romance. Considered one of the best musical scores of all time, it includes, "They Say It's Wonderful," I Got Lost in His Arms" and "There's No Business Like Show Business". The rousing finale hits the mark every time.

Music and lyrics by Irving Berlin with the original book by Herbert Fields, Dorothy Fields as revised by Peter Stone.  This production was directed by Jason Spitzer with musical direction by Gary Beard.

Tickets are $28 for adults, $15 for students and $10 for children under 12.
