Theatre Downtown Presents AUGUST: OSAGE COUNTY, Closes 3/27

By:

Theatre Downtown will present the Central Floriday premiere of Tracy Letts' Tony-winning play August: Osage County. The production, directed by Frank Hilgenberg, will play weekends from Mar. 4th through Mar. 27th.

August, 2007. A country home outside Pawhuska, Oklahoma, sixty miles northwest of Tulsa. Beverly Weston, a one-time world class poet and patriarch of the Weston family has disappeared. The Weston sisters return to their home to get to the heart of the matter. There is no place like home or is there? With rich insight and brilliant humor, Letts paints a vivid portrait of a family at a turning point.

August: Osage County stars Sarah Andrew, Tim Bass, Michael Ealy, Pat Kelly, Cira Larkin, Leslie Penuel, Pete Penuel, Natalie Reed, Marcie Schwalm, Katrina Tharin, Monica Travers, Anthony W. Vito and Dean Walkuski.

Performances are Thursday, Friday & Saturday at 8 pm. Sunday Matinees are on March 20th & 27th at 2:30 PM. Tickets are $20.00/$16.00 for Seniors & Students. For reservations call 407-841-0083. Theatre Downtown is located at 2113 North Orange Avenue, Orlando. Visit theatredowntown.net for more information.
