Theatre Aspen announces adult master classes, to be held August 7th and 8th at the Red Brick Studios. Taught by Beth Malone and Jamison Stern, both currently starring in TA main stage shows, adults and teens can sign up for "Acting In Song" (with Beth Malone) and "The Ins and Outs of Auditioning" with Jamison Stern.

On Friday, August 7 Beth Malone will teach "Acting in Song", from 6pm to 9pm. "Acting in Song" is designed to prepare the actor for any singing role by exploring song lyrics as script and connecting to song in a deeper and more confident way. This class will teach students how to present a song that commands the attention of any audience!" Please bring a prepared song to work on, with the sheet music. An accompanist will be provided.

On Saturday, August 8, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, Jamison Stern will teach The Ins and Outs of Auditioning. Discover the dos and don'ts of auditioning - what to expect at an audition and how to handle the unexpected. Learn to pick appropriate audition material and present yourself and your material in the best possible way. Please prepare either an audition song or monologue. Bring pictures and resumes, if you have them.

Classes, held at the Red Brick Center for the Arts, are $50 for each class or for both, $80. To register, please call Marisa Post at 970-925.9313 x3 or email Marisa@theatreaspen.org.
