Theater 2020 To Present RPM In A MERRY JOYFUL NOISE, 12/2; & A RADIO CHRISTMAS CAROL, 12/8
Theater 2020 "Visions for a New Millennium" presents: Two holiday events coming up for your pleasure!
On Sunday, December 2nd at 3 pm, A MERRY JOYFUL NOISE with the vocal group RPM: Join performers Mary Lou Barber, John Canary, Paula Hoza, Luisa Tedoff and Tim Weiss, for an hour long concert featuring some of your favorite traditional, and not so traditional holiday music. This event includes an optional sing-a-long on some of the classics & a reception with the artists immediately following the concert. Come and see why after over a decade of performing together, this group is still so popular!
Next, on Saturday, December 8th at 3 pm, A RADIO CHRISTMAS CAROL runs. Join artists Marc Deaton, David Fuller, Allen Hale, Judith Jarosz, John Johmann, Elise Reynard & Todd Schwarz as they present Charles Dickens' Christmas Classic adapted by David Fuller and performed as a one hour Radio Play, complete with Foley Artist Sound Effects! This event includes an optional sing-a-long on some of the classics & a reception with the artists immediately following the concert. Great for the whole family ages five years and up! (All proceeds for this event benefit Saint Charles Borromeo Church!)
Both events take place at the gorgeous Saint Charles Borromeo Church in beautiful Brooklyn Heights on 21 Sidney Place (between Joralemon & State Streets).
