The Oldest Living Graduate Opens at Adobe Theatre, 3/25
The Oldest Living Graduate by Preston Jones will play the Adobe Theatre March 25 - April 17, 2011.
"The three comedy/dramas that make up "A Texas Trilogy" explore the lives of men and women in the imaginary town of Bradleyville. Playwright Preston Jones ("Santa Fe Sunshine") knows this region well, and in "The Oldest Living Graduate" he focuses upon Colonel J. C. Kincaid, an elderly curmudgeon who attempts to rule his family from his wheel-chair. The news that he is to be honored by his Military Academy leads to a struggle over a plot of land that his son wants to develop. In this "well crafted look at communities that the modern world has passed by," director John Hardman finds a "beautiful, touching play" that should enthrall Adobe Theater audiences."
