At Wold Performing Arts Center - April 12

Las Vegas Headliner Osborne is Hailed as ‘Pianist to the Presidents'

Lynn University and Jan McArt, Director of Theatre Arts Program Development, today announced an upcoming performance at the new Keith C. and Elaine Johnson Wold Performing Arts Center.

April 12 - 8 p.m. (Tuesday)
David OSBORNE TRIO

Nationally known as "The Pianist to the Presidents," David Osborne has played for every U.S. President since Jimmy Carter, who once called him "one of the finest pianists in the United States." And, following a White House concert, George W. Bush once gushed, "That boy can play!"

Usually performing at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Osborne was formerly a 12-year fixture at Caesars Palace. With 22 different CDs selling millions of copies, his musical repertoire is a magical blend of America's favorite songs-combining pop, jazz, romantic, classical, inspirational, patriotic and Broadway show tunes.

The other two members of the David Osborne Trio are Danny DeMorales, bass who previously performed with Burt Bachrach, Wayne Newton and Dionne Warwick; and Paul Stubblefield, drums/vocals, who previously performed with The O'Jays, The Drifters, The Platters and The Inkspots.

The David Osborne Trio is presented as part of the Libby Dodson's Live at Lynn Series, now in its seventh season at Lynn University, and is sponsored by Elaine Johnson Wold. Patrons will enjoy post-concert champagne courtesy of Mrs. Wold, and will have the opportunity to take photos with the artist.

Tickets are $25/mezzanine, $30/orchestra and are available for purchase at the Lynn University Box Office, located in the Wold Performing Arts Center at 3601 N. Military Trail. Tickets also may be purchased online at http://our.lynn.edu/osborne, or by phone at 561.237.9000.
