Located in the Bradley Building (closest to Pizza Hut)

Audition Information:
Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script, unless you are interested in the role of Bitsy Mae Harling, in which case you will need to bring your guitar and sing a little something. Please note that this show is an adult comedy and contains adult language. Please know that, if you are cast, you will be expected to say the language in script. This show is about real stereotypical southern folks that some might label white trash. The characters are real and need to be portrayed as such. If you don't fit the age described for a character, don't worry about that, we can do wonders with make-up, come and audition anyway.

The Characters
Bitsy Mae Harling - a guitar playing ex-con singer (ideally, the actress playing this role should be able to actually play the guitar)
Ty Williamson - late 20s, a beautiful gay man on a journey through therapy
Sissy Hickey - mid 50's, the caretaker who picked the wrong day to quit smoking (actress who smokes is a plus, but not required)
Noleta Nethercott - late 30's or early 40's, the angry overweight betrayed housewife
Latrelle Williamson - late 40's or early 50's, Ty's uptight, proper mother
LaVonda Dupree - late 40's, Latrelle's liberal-minded worldly sister (actress who smokes is a plus, but not required)
G.W. Nethercott - late 40's, the distraught legless Vietnam Vet (appears onstage in underwear)
Wardell "Bubba" Owens - mid late 40's, the former gay-bashing remorseful bartender (appears onstage in underwear)
Odell Owens - mid 30's to mid 40's, Wardell's worthless story-telling brother (appears onstage in underwear)
Dr. Eve Bolinger - late 30's to late 40's, the over-sexed pill-popping alcoholic therapist (actress appears onstage in her bra)
Earl "Brother Boy" Ingram - 40 something, the Tammy Wynette obsessed transvestite (actor plays an over-the-top drag queen character)
Reverand Barnes - the Southern Baptist preacher
Juanita Bartlett - mid 30's to mid 50's, the not so bright, beer drinking, smoking, constantly drunk addition to the cast (actress who smokes is a plus, but not required)
