The Colonial Theatre Presents Foghat 4/2

New York rock band Foghat will take the stage of the Colonial for a one night only concert event Saturday, April 2 at 8pm.

Tickets are $45 and $35 and may be purchased in person at the Colonial Ticket Office at 111 South Street or by calling (413) 997-4444 or online at www.TheColonialTheatre.org. The Ticket Office is open Monday-Friday 10pm-5pm, Saturdays 10pm-2pm or on any performance day from 10am until intermission.

Foghat is a hard-rocking British quartet that was founded in the early 1970s and has toured relentlessly ever since. Their hard work has earned them seven Gold records, one Platinum record, one Double-Platinum record and a legion of loyal fans around the world. Their favorite hits include such classics as "Slow Ride," "Fool For The City," "I Just Want To Make Love To You," "Mumbo Jumbo," "Drivin' Wheel" and many more.

Foghat was created by Roger Earl and Lonesome Dave Peverett, who met as members of the seminal British blues band Savoy Brown. Wanting to give more of a Rock ‘n' Roll flavor to their music, they united with Rod Price and Tony Stevens to form Foghat. From those humble beginnings they would go on to dominate album rock radio and concert venues throughout the country for the next two decades.

After the untimely passing of lead singer Lonesome Dave in 2000, Roger recruited the former frontman for Ted Nugent and Victory, Charlie Huhn to take on vocal duties. Teaming with longtime members Craig MacGregor and Bryan Bassett, Foghat returned to the road for another decade of bringing hard-rock boogie to their fans.

Their latest project, a blues CD called Last Train Home is the culmination of a dream shared by Roger and Lonesome Dave. With Last Train Home Foghat comes full circle, an offering that mixes some Foghat Blues stamped with originals and many other blues gems. This album is guaranteed to become a classic.
