On Tuesday, December 15, the Theater People Podcast welcome's Tony nominee Norm Lewis, whose career on and off Broadway, in London's West End, and on the international concert circuit, spans nearly 25 years, and counting. He will be making his Feinstein's/54 Below debut with a holiday show running from December 20th to 24th at 9:30pm.
Lewis made his Broadway debut in 1993 in the original cast of THE WHO'S TOMMY and went on to star in Broadway favorites SIDE SHOW, THE WILD PARTY, LES MISERABLES, THE LITTLE MERMAID, THE GERSHWINS' PORGY AND BESS, and THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA.
For the episode, Lewis discusses his years working in advertising in Orlando, Florida before making the leap to New York City, being turned down for a performer job seven times by Disney in Orlando, and then climbing the ranks to Broadway stardom.
