The Platform GroupÂ's Ladder Series to Present Staged Reading of THE BUS TEST, 7/22

Out of over 100 submissions, ten new plays will receive a staged reading at The Creek and Cave in Long Island City, NY. The Ladder series is scheduled to begin in July and continue into early October.

On Sunday July 22, 2012 at 1pm, The Platform Group will present The Bus Test by David Meyers (Former White House published author on foreign policy). The play is a darkly comedic look at Wall Street and playing guitar. The staged readings will be directed by Reginald L. Douglas (Co-Artistic Director of The Planet Connections Theatre Festivity, Assistant Director Second Stage's All New People, MTC's We Live Here). The Cast includes Erin Wegner Brooks* (Young Frankenstein). Rick Delaney*, Brady Kirchberg, Dave Droxler*, and Thom Rivera* (As the World Turns, MTC’s The American Pilot, Roundabout’s Howard Katz)*members of AEA.
