The Merchants of Bollywood Perform At tkts Brent Cross June 2

On Thursday 2 June The Merchants of Bollywood cast members will bring the glamour and glitter of Bollywood to Brent Cross Shopping Centre (Centre Court) to treat families and shoppers to a free performance from 1pm-2.30pm.

The Merchants of Bollywood is June's 'Show of the Month' at tkts Brent Cross, and the tkts staff will be offering half price and discounted ticket prices for the production alongside their usual wide variety of West End shows.

The Peacock Theatre in London's West End will play host to The Merchants of Bollywood from 31 May until 3 July 2011. Featuring a cast of 30 multi-talented performers, this turbo-charged, joyfully uplifting show is a riot of extravagant costumes, swirling colours, high-energy music, and sensational dance scenes. Seen by over two million people worldwide, this heart-warming show is a delightful homage to the world of Indian cinema and a truly extraordinary evening of music and dance.

Run by the Society of London Theatre, the tkts booths in Leicester Square and Brent Cross have sold a staggering 10.9 million tickets to more than 1,200 shows in the past thirty years. All profits fund a range of important activities in the theatre industry including supporting upcoming actors and producers, and audience development initiatives.
