The Ensemblist Podcast to Join NYC Podfest with Special Guests

On May 22 at 8:15pm, The Ensemblist's Nikka Graff Lanzarone?and Mo Brady will host an evening of performances by Broadway's best singer/­songwriters as part of NYC Podfest?. John Arthur Greene? (Matilda The Musical, West Side Story), Janet Krupin? (If/Then, Hands on a Hardbody) and Douglas Lyons ?(Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, The Book of Mormon) will each perform original music and take part in an intimate conversation about their Broadway careers, songwriting influences, and more.

The one ­hour show takes place at Cake Shop (152 Ludlow Street) in New York City. All tickets for the show are $10 and are available now by clicking here.

John Arthur Greene ?is a veteran of Broadway's Matilda The Musical and West Side Story. As a songwriter, he recently released a single, "Easy," avaialble on iTunes, and was a finalist on this season's American Idol.

Janet Krupin?is a three time original Broadway cast member of Bring It On, Hands on a Hardbody and If/Then. Originally from the west coast, Janet has a degree in film from USC. This year she joined forces with musicians Brian Ripps and Gabe Cummins to form The Jackson Massive. The band gigs regularly in NY, LA and most recently Austin, TX!

Douglas Lyons?, half of the songwriting team Lyons & Pakchar, is a actor and songwriter originally from New Haven, CT. Lyons and Pakchar's collaboration began when they met touring on the National Tour of The Book of Mormon. In August 2013, after fundraising a campaign, the team recorded their debut album #Love (Live) an 11­song album that mixes pop, R&B and theatre to explore "the good, bad and awkward roller coasters in human relationships."
