The Backstage Bistro Opens For Business
By: Gabrielle Sierra
The artisans of Shadowbox Live are serving up artisan coffee at The Backstage Bistro!
The Backstage Bistro, located in what soon will be Shadowbox Live's new home at 503 S. Front Street in the Brewery District, is now a fully functioning coffee shop. Opening at 6:30 AM on weekdays and 7:30 AM on weekends, The Backstage Bistro is offering a wide variety of gourmet coffee drinks, fruit smoothies, and high quality pastries, muffins, bagels and scones, some of which are being provided from local bakeries."It was very important to us to partner with bakeries who are local masters," says Katy Psenicka, Director of Operations for Shadowbox Live. "These companies have great attention to detail and often use surprising and unexpected ingredients. In essence, they approach the art of their food the same way we approach the production of our shows."The Backstage Bistro features muffins and scones from The Angry Baker, bagels from Block's Bagels, and gourmet cookies from The Rogue Baker.Videos
