The first ever Tony Award Documentary Film Series, part of the 2011 Tony Awards Showcase at the Times Square Visitor Center and Mini-Museum The Tony Award Documentary Films Series is featuring three films that examine what it's like to be behind-the-scenes on a Broadway musical. The Tony Awards Showcase, featuring historic Tony memorabilia, is open until the end of June and free to the public. 

On Monday May 23, the series will feature 'Show Business: The Road to Broadway,' which goes behind the curtain to capture the 2003- 2004 Broadway season in all of its controversy, passion and risk. Dori Berinstein (Producer/Director/Writer of the film) will moderate the event, and Jeanine Tesori, (2004 Tony Award Nominee for Best Original Score for Caroline, or Change) and Stephanie D'Abruzzi (2004 Tony Award Nominee for Best Actress in a Musical) will serve as panelists.

The event will ake place at the Times Square Visitor Center and Mini Museum (Seventh Avenue between 46th & 47th Street). Doors open at 6:30 PM and the film to begin promptly at 7:00 PM. The Tony Awards Film Series is free to the public.

Tickets will be available on a first come, first serve basis, as seating is limited. Limit two (2) tickets per person. This is the final screening in the series. To RSVP for the film series, please send your ticket request and film preference to TonyFilmSeries@broadway.org.
