Taylor Swift Joins Black Eyed Peas In CONCERT 4 NYC 6/9

Four-time Grammy winner Taylor Swift will make a special appearance with The Black Eyed Peas at the historic Chase presents the "Concert 4 NYC" in Central Park on June 9th. In addition to Taylor Swift, Natasha Bedingfield, MC Hammer, Debbie Harry, LL Cool J and Carole King will perform to support the Robin Hood Foundation and its mission to fight poverty in New York City. Robin Hood has enlisted celebrity friends to help bring awareness and raise funds for the Foundation including Zach Braff, Whoopi Goldberg, Jimmy Smits and others who will make special appearances throughout the evening. Chase, the largest private-sector employer in New York City, is the presenting sponsor. Clear Channel is the event's exclusive radio partner.

Concertgoers must have a ticket to enter the event. Tickets are still available for sale to this once-in-a-lifetime event through http://blackeyedpeasnyc.eventbrite.com/.

Taylor Swift is the reigning Billboard Top 200 Albums Artist and Entertainment Weekly and Academy of Country Music Entertainer of the Year, the top-selling digital artist in music history, has had singles top both the Country and Pop radio charts, and in 2010 sold more albums than any other artist in any genre of music. Her current album, Speak Now, sold over 1 million copies in its debut week and is the biggest debuting country studio album in history, and her 6x-Platinum Fearless album is the most awarded album in Country music history.

The concert will raise funds and awareness for Robin Hood, a public charity targeting poverty in New York City by funding and partnering with the best and most effective programs. Robin Hood's grants and guidance support food pantries, homeless shelters, health clinics and provide work-force training for impoverished New Yorkers in the five boroughs. As part of the partnership with The Black Eyed Peas, Robin Hood will fund the opening of three Peapod Academies in New York City over the coming years, which will support disadvantaged youth, by providing music and artistic education, such as music engineering, mixing and video editing, among other opportunities.
