Take Me Out at NCTC Begins May 11
"Take Me Out is Richard Greenberg's complex meditation on prejudice and patriotism, suffused with a passion for baseball," states press notes, "Darren Lemming, the star center fielder of the world champion New York Empires is young, rich, famous, talented, handsome, and so convinced of his popularity that when he casually announces he is gay, he assumes that the news will be readily accepted by everybody. It isn't."
Warning: Take Me Out features full-frontal male nudity. Mature audiences only.
The show runs from May 19 July 1, 2007 (no shows May 20, June 10 & 24). Wednesdays through Saturdays at 8PM and Sundays at 2PM. Previews will run May 11-19, 2007, and a captioned performance will take place on June 3 at 2PM.
