"We are so excited to announce that fun. is going to be a part of Trevor Live. fun. has been promoting LGBTQ awareness for some time now and we feel they are a perfect fit," said Abbe Land, Executive Director and CEO of The Trevor Project. "We are looking forward to their performance, as well as their continued work in the LGBTQ community."

Fun. has had a breakout year with the success of their song "We Are Young (feat. Janelle Monae)," which held the top spot on Billboard's Hot 100 chart for six consecutive weeks. The song, from their album Some Nights, is the top-selling track of 2012 thus far.

"We are honored to be supporting the Trevor Project in every way we can. In the current state in which LGBTQ citizens are denied basic rights, it's absolutely vital to have resources like The Trevor Project available to kids as a support system to help them understand that there is nothing wrong with them. There are organizations working hard to deny LGBTQ youth the tools they need to feel proud of who they are. The Trevor Project stands firmly against that hate and offers solutions to LGBTQ youth who are surrounded with negativity and disrespect based on who they are. As a band of allies who are doing everything in our power to help ensure LGBTQ rights, aligning with The Trevor Project is thrilling and inspiring for us," says Jack Antonoff of fun.

Trevor Live presented by Audi of America, Pfizer and Wells Fargo is a signature annual event of The Trevor Project, bringing together top entertainers and corporate leaders to support the organization's life-saving, life-affirming initiatives for LGBTQ youth in crisis. This high-profile event has honored actors, musicians and comedians including Daniel Radcliffe, Lady Gaga, Kathy Griffin, Neil Patrick Harris and Vanessa Williams and corporate trailblazers such as Ernst & Young, Levi Strauss & Co., Wells Fargo Bank and CNN for their support of LGBTQ youth.
