T.R. Knight Signs On for 42 Movie

According to the Hollywood Reporter, stage and screen star T.R. Knight will star in Legendary Pictures' upcoming Jackie Robinson biopic-'42.' Knight will play 'Harold Parrott, the Dodgers traveling secretary who has to deal with the repercussions of housing once Robinson joins the team.'

Knight is perhps best known for playing George O'Malley on ABC's Grey's Anatomy. He played opposite Patti LuPone in the 2001 revival of Noises Off. He also performed in 2003 as Damis in Tartuffe and received a Drama Desk Award nomination in 2003 for his role in the off-Broadway production of Scattergood. Knight's starred in the 2004 drama, Boy.

Knight also starred in a production of the musical Parade, opening Oct. 4, 2009, at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles as Leo Frank. Last year returned to Broadway in David Mamet's A Life in the Theatre where he played the role of John.
