Deborah Cox, Constantine Maroulis

The preview engagement of JEKYLL & HYDE celebrated its opening night performance on September 8, 2012, at La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts in La Mirada, Calif. The limited pre-tour engagement will play through September 30, 2012. The new production of the international musical sensation will return to Broadway in Spring 2013, following a 25-week National Tour that launches on October 2, 2012, at San Diego's Civic Theatre. The cast features Constantine Maroulis in the dual title role of Dr. Henry Jekyll and Edward Hyde and Deborah Coxas as Lucy. Steve Kazee

Multi-talented actress, singer, television host, playwright, songwriter and author Kathie Lee Gifford hosted this year’s Broadway on Broadway on Sunday, September 9th, presented by United Airlines and The New York Times. The event kicked off the 2012-2013 Broadway season with star performances from new shows and long-running favorites, accompanied by a live 30-piece live orchestra directed byAlex Lacamoire. Cast of RENT - Final Curtain Call

The off-Broadway production of RENT closed on September 9, at New World Stages. The production played 32 previews and 450 performances. RENT, which is written by Jonathan Larson and directed by Michael Greif, opened at the theater on August 11, 2011. Click here to check out more photos from the final curatin call and after party!

Patti LuPone, Debra Winger

THE ANARCHIST, a new play written and directed by David Mamet starring Patti LuPone and Debra Winger, will be presented on Broadway at the newly refurbished Golden Theatre. THE ANARCHIST begins previews on Tuesday, November 13th and the official opening date set for Sunday, December 2nd. Stars of the show LuPone and Winger met the press this week. Rob McClure

Broadway’s new musical CHAPLIN opened September 10 at the Barrymore Theatre. CHAPLIN is a new musical depicting the life of film icon Charlie Chaplin, played by Rob McClure, with music and lyrics by Christopher Curtis and book by three-time Tony Award-winner Thomas Meehan and Christopher Curtis. The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel welcomes back legendary singer/songwriter Judy Collins for her sixth engagement at the iconic venue, Café Carlyle. Gossip columnist Perez Hilton joined the cast of the off-Broadway musical revue, NEWSical the Musical, for a four-week run on September 8th. NEWSical the Musical is the ever-evolving, completely un-sanitized musical mockery of all the news that’s fit to spoof. ANNIE, the new production of the Tony Award-winning musical is now in rehearsals. The production begins previews October 3, 2012 and opens November 8, 2012 at the Palace Theatre. On September 12, the cast and creative team met the press. Check out full photo coverage here!

Academy Award® nominee Jessica Chastain, Academy Award® nominee and Emmy® Award winner David Strathairn and the leading man of “Downton Abbey” Dan Stevens lead a new production of the unforgettable drama and Tony Award® winning play THE HEIRESS. Written by Ruth & Augustus Goetz. THE HEIRESS will be directed by Tony Award® nominated playwright and director Moisés Kaufman. On Thursday, the cast met the press. The National Tour of THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, will play a strictly limited 12-week engagement from now through November 25, 2012 at the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles.
