THE UNDERSTUDY's Cast & Playwright To Appear On Theater Talk 12/25

The Understudy's Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Justin Kirk, Julie White and playwright Theresa Rebeck, will be featured on "Theater Talk" beginning Friday, December 25th at 1:00AM on Channel Thirteen. The interview will repeat on CUNY TV, channel 75 on Saturday, January 2nd at 8:30PM; Sunday, January 3rd at 12:30PM; and Monday, January 4th at 7:30 AM, 1:30PM, and 7:30PM.
Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) is proud to present the New York premiere of Theresa Rebeck's new comedy The Understudy, directed by Scott Ellis featuring Mark-Paul Gosselaar (TNT's "Raising the Bar") as "Jake", Justin Kirk (Showtime's "Weeds") as "Harry" and Tony® Award winner Julie White as "Roxanne".The Understudy opened officially on Thursday, November 5, 2009 at the Laura Pels Theatre at the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre (111 West 46th Street). The limited engagement has been extended through January 17th, 2010.The design team includes Alexander Dodge (Sets), Tom Broecker (Costumes), Kenneth Posner (Lights), Obadiah Eaves (Original Music & Sound).Box office heroes and washed-up has-beens take heed: the play's almost the thing.
